I hope that after the City of Bones, there will be a production of the City of Ashes, in which Maia first appears and I would love to have the chance to play such a cool character. Maia’s character appeals to me, not just because of her physicality or her role as a Downworlder, but her personality. Maia is a ‘tough girl’ type, with a ‘hardy’ personality. However, we later see that she actually has gone through soo much pain and trauma, that leaves her vulnerable. She builds walls for herself.. which I can relate to. She has trust issues, after her brother trying to kill her AND her boyfriend turning her into a werewolf. I mean, who wouldn’t? In Maia, I do see part of myself; her stubbornness, her fear, her trusting, almost vulnerable nature ‘even though she’s a werewolf’ and can ‘supposedly’ take care of herself. I have been in theatre productions and have performed at the Palladium, with a popular dance company whilst having been dancing since the age of 5. I love performing, its in my blood (hopefully Simon wont be able to tell), and I know that Maia’s character is something I can do, if given the honour of doing so. JoWell hello! I am Jo. For now i am in Slovenia, but no problem coming anywhere. So my name in Slovenia is strange for people but for me it is not. It is a japanise name or thing, it means ocena, sea, thats what they told me:) i was acctually without a name when i was born about 4 days:D So back to acting. A lot of people asks me why do i like that, why do i do it? Honestly, because i like it! As an actress I take roles I find interesting, even if i am not yet a real actress. So basically anything.
