Auditions for Lead Role in MovieT.I.M. Productions announces an open casting call for its SAG-AFTRA feature film “Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl.” Casting directors are on a nationwide search to fill the lead role in the movie. Auditions are being held in Edenton, North Carolina on Saturday, August 20th. WSA Casting is looking for an African American teen who is at least 18 years old to play younger.About “Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl”Storyline: Set during the late 1800s in Edenton, NC, Harriet Jacobs spent seven years hiding in her grandmother’s 7’ x 9’ crawl space to escape the tyrannical slave master who refused to stop looking for her. With a $100 bounty on her head offered by Dr. James Norcom, she escapes, writes her autobiography about the horrors of slavery and the abolitionist who helped her to freedom.
