Academy Award winners Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci are starring in the new movie about Jimmy Hoffa and an Irish mob hitman. “The Irishman” casting call is looking for models and actors to be extras. The movie is in need of Italian-American looking men and women ages 18 and older. Specifics such as shoot dates are unknown at this time, but submissions are now being accepted. Filming will be in New York City so only those located to the tri state area are being considered. The film is being directed by the extraordinary Oscar winner Martin Scorsese. Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel and Bobby Cannavale are on board to star in the Netflix feature, which is based on the book by Charles Brandt, I Heard You Paint Houses: Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran and the Inside Story of the Mafia, the Teamsters, and the Final Ride by Jimmy Hoffa. De Niro is portraying Sheeran, the tough Irishman hitman who is said to have carried out over 25 mob murders, including that of legendary Teamster head Hoffa (Pacino), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
