NickSo i am from the UK with Greek Heritage (having lived there and around the world for a long period of time) I will be coming to Melbourne this summer for an exchange (i currently study at a university in the Netherlands) and i believe i will have the opportuntiy to fly over there for casting. I have had some acting experience, mostly school plays (they were very well done considering, our director had graduated from a distinguished Arts school in the US), i have also appeared on television back in Europe on a documentary (very minor though). Mainly though, i’m a lord of the rings freak, i can do a variety of guttural noises if you want me to do an orc or i could be a man of Dale gladly. i feel i can do my best for the role necessary and would greatly appreciate the chance to be on your set in New Zealand, i wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t my dream, which it has been for perhaps just under a decade. When i heard they were filming more films i was delighted. Most of all i would appreciate the chance just to work on such an epic set with everyone, i expect no acting career from this, just a life time experience and a blast! MattiasPleased to meet you! I am a 27 years old male from Sweden with a Bachelor’s degree in English who, according to my British friend yesterday, looks like the stereotypical Scandinavian blonde. I disagree with him there, since I have a pretty unique face that stirs people’s imagination, which is why I think I would be a good actor as I can take on many roles. I have heard that I look like so many different iconic figures in my life, or somebody’s lost brother, somebody’s childhood friend, their father when he was young (jadajada), Curt Cobain (God no!), Legolas (sure, thanks), Fabio (o Lord… porn star apparently?) etc. etc. (obviously it’s just in the heads of the ones who see me!). Basically I am handsome and tend to look like what people would expect when they think of for example… an elf, a dwarf, a hobbit! A king a prince. I myself, think I would fit in the Hobbit Saga because I have an emotional attachment to Tolkien’s books and I feel like I know how to play a character from that world. I feel like I have the personality of a hobbit; I used to be more Elvish when I was younger. I am also pretty brave and stout, so I’d be a good dwarf as well; or Bullroarer? (haha, I made my friend wet his shorts at the martial arts training during some ridiculous Kai session). MattiasDear casting team,I am 27 years old male from Sweden with a Bachelor’s degree in English who, according to my British friend yesterday, looks like the stereotypical Scandinavian blonde. I disagree with him there, since I have a pretty unique face that stirs people’s imagination, which is why I think I would be a good actor as I can take on many roles. I have heard that I look like so many different iconic figures in my life, or somebody’s lost brother, somebody’s childhood friend, their father when he was young (jadajada), Curt Cobain (God no!), Legolas (sure, thanks), Fabio (who’s that? … What??) etc. etc. (obviously it’s just in the heads of the ones who see me!). Basically I am handsome and tend to look like what people would expect when they think of for example… an elf, a dwarf, a hobbit! A king a prince. I myself, think I would fit in the Hobbit Saga because I have an emotional attachment to Tolkien’s books and I feel like I know how to play a character from that world. I feel like I have the personality of a hobbit; I used to be more Elvish when I was younger. I am also pretty brave and stout, so I’d be a good dwarf as well; or Bullroarer (haha, I basically made my friend wet his shorts at the martial arts training during some ridiculous Kai session). Andrea CascavalHi! I read most of the lord of the rings series, but by far my favorite was the Hobbit. Being part of this movie would mean so much to me. I have been interested in acting for quite some time, and at my school there is a children’s theatre that comes every year.
