Gail JonesI love movies, plays, comedy, and drama. I have spent my career as a clinical social worker, sex therapist, and written 2 books for children, a sex ed book and one on compulsive eating. I am 69 years old and started acting in high school in a play where I had one line. I did not get back on stage until I was 38 in a play called Boeing Boeing. It was funny and I made the audience laughed and was hooked. Community theater was in my future for several years where acting some and serving as a charter president of our local theater board. When my son was 13 years old I stopped acting in community theater and did a local public access show entitled, Lets Talk About Sex and Loving,for 7 years. After that there was 8 years on the Alameda County Board of Education and my son went off to college. Then there was a 10 year struggle to get my divorce and it was very frustrating so I went to the stage to learn stand up comedy. It saved me from murder or suicide.! In Feb. 2010 an acsending aortic dissection woke me up in the middle of the night and God saw fit to save my life. I have always wanted to be on tv and love Oprah for what she has done for the millions of people who watched her show as she dealt with much needed psychological topics and highly respect the work of Mr. Perry. I believe you two have a FANTASTIC idea for a wonderful show and the two of you could do a bang up job with it.
