I can sing various genres of music such as jazz, r&b, pop, indie etc. I also act, read music and I also have perfect pitch. I’ve been performing since I was little and started doing musical theater in 8th grade. Since then I have played various main roles in musicals such as Wizard of Oz Grease, Anything Goes and Hairspray in which I played Motormouth Maybelle and then went on to be nominated and win the “2012 5th Avenue Theatre Award” for Outstanding Performance by an Actress In A Supporting Role out of 100 schools in the state of Washington. Earlier this year I sang the national anthem for Ex Secretary of Defense Robert Gates at the Marshall Lecture in Vancouver, WA. I noticed my daughter was full of talent at the age of 1 when I was told by my family and friends that they only come to visit me to see my daughter because they couldnt believe how funny and smart she was for her age and how she had her own personality and sense of humor. Even at the age of 4 the things i watch her do impresses me more and more and encourages me to put her talent to use because she def. has what it takes to be on t.v with “Mr.Brown” Recently I watched her sit on the phone with her dad and pretend to cry and put a whole story together about how she was teased at school, the part that amazed me was as she was telling him the story she began pretending to cry, but as she was cring she was laughing at her self because she knew the story wasnt true but wanted to see her dads reaction! She was so good at it that she really convenced her dad that the story was true. After seeing that i realized that it was officially official my baby def. has what it takes to play any role that may come her way.I immediately thought oh yes Mr.Perry def. needs to see her in action lol…..I love all of your movies and work and really hope that one day God will bless my daughter with the chance to reveil her talent and let everyone see how intelligent and amazing she is.I can honestly say i have never came across a 4 yr.old like her in my life and that right there is why she is amazing and deserves the oppurtunity to show you all what she’s all about.. This is not a spontaneous act for me to want to act in fact I’ve wanted to be an actress, model, and singer for quite some time however acting was my first love and passion. Like many other applicants I am a huge fan of Tyler Perry’s. I have loved his work since the Madea Plays and am always left laughing and in awe after each movie. I love learning a new lesson every time I watch one of his movies. However my favorite part of the movies isn’t just the plot and characters but the behind the scenes of how everything works and what the cast has to say about working with one another. I l love watching bloopers, behind the scenes and reading the tweets of the cast, directors, and produces of how much hard work, time, and effort was put into each episode. I love that the most.
