Caylin GregoryRecently coming across The Fosters on my netflix account, I never expected to become so attached to each character and their story on this show. I quickly finished both seasons and sat down to watch the season 3 premiere this past Monday. ABC Family has always provided it’s viewers with television dramas that hold so much meaning and tell such inspirational stories, and this one does all of that and more. Shakera Varghese (KERA)Hello!!! I’m Shakera,and I’m 12. This is like one of my 7 or 6 favorite shows and it is very hard for me to favor something like I favor this show!!! I think I am right for this show because many people are in this for the money or the fame but ( I know you probably get this a lot but,) I personally from the bottom of my heart see this show as an opportunity to be me, and to do something I love. No one has ever noticed me before, and generally this would be amazing for my family because, over my 12 years my family has gone through deaths, some people ambushing us in the store telling me my family is not my family, car accidents, and MANY more. We need closure, we need someone telling us or me that it will be ok, and I think this is the road to getting there, I think that I can blow you guys away. Not many people expect that out of the blue that the one person IN red will be the one to blow everyone away. My mom tells me we don’t have enough money. and that it’s a one in a million chance but I think I could prove to her that the girl she thinks is as dull as grey actually shines as bright as a star. ChanceHey guys, I’m loving the dynamic of ” The Fosters ”This show really tugs at the heart strings and brings to life scenarios that most people do not see day to day. It’s all about imperfect people living in a imperfect world and making it work. I myself being part of the lgbt community believe this show has made leaps and bounds in a cotroversial business.
