Julian SeguinMy name is Julian Seguin. My aspiration is to become a professional actor. In order to do this, I must understand all the aspects that the job entails and all the possibilities that are open to me in this field. I first desired to become an actor back in University and I took part in the Hart House Classes, working under the tutelage of Kevin McCormack, taking various acting classes including but not limited to On Camera-Self Discovery, Voice and Speech and Empowering Your Presence. I take classes at Second City, having completed Acting Level 2 and am currently on Acting Level 3.Furthermore, every Monday night, I participate with a group of experienced TV and Theatre actors, who perform sections of films or plays in front each other. This was in fact, how I became involved in Second City. I intend to take Acting Level 4 next year to further hone my skills as an actor.When I am not taking these classes I read scripts from movies or plays that I have watched, or sometimes ones that I have not. I do this to better understand the characters of the story and try to envision myself as them. Among the notable films that I watched are Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance, Whiplash, The Incredibles and Looper.I am registered on Mandy and currently hold a Premium Membership. I have auditioned for multiple productions and took part in a few roles, though the films have not yet been released. I am hoping that I can really get started on the Flash. The cast is superb as is the location.I want to act because I enjoy it very much. And I believe that the most important things about having a successful job are not only being good at what you do, but having fun. You should look forward to heading out for work in the morning instead of dreading it the night before. For me, acting is one of the few things I am successful in doing. I can memorize scripts without fail, and I can perform whatever role I am given to the letter. For me, acting is an escape from reality. I do not have to think about the stress that life brings, and instead can be someone else. When I am on stage I no longer have to myself, and at the same time, I can feel more like myself. Julian SeguinMy name is Julian Seguin. My aspiration is to become a professional actor. In order to do this, I must understand all the aspects that the job entails and all the possibilities that are open to me in this field. I first desired to become an actor back in high school, but I was nervous and did not participate in the drama program. In University however, I took part in the Hart House Classes, working under the tutelage of Kevin McCormack, taking various acting classes including but not limited to On Camera-Self Discovery, Voice and Speech and Empowering Your Presence. I take classes at Second City, having completed Acting Level 2 and am currently on Acting Level 3. Furthermore, every Monday night, I participate with a group of experienced TV and Theatre actors, who perform sections of films or plays in front each other. This was in fact, how I became involved in Second City. I intend to take Acting Level 4 next year to further hone my skills as an actor. When I am not taking these classes I read scripts from movies or plays that I have watched, or sometimes ones that I have not. I do this to better understand the characters of the story and try to envision myself as them. Among the notable films that I watched are Birman Or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance, Whiplash, The Incredibles and Looper. I want to act because I enjoy it very much. And I believe that the most important things about having a successful job are not only being good at what you do, but having fun. You should look forward to heading out for work in the morning instead of dreading it the night before. For me, acting is one of the few things I am successful in doing. I can memorize scripts without fail, and I can perform whatever role I am given to the letter. For me, acting is an escape from reality. I do not have to think about the stress that life brings, and instead can be someone else. When I am on stage I no longer have to myself, and at the same time, I can feel more like myself. Kara RusseHi my name is Kara I am 26 years old and I’m 5’5 1/2. I will sound an immense amount of cheesy when I say that I love superheroes. And not specific ones but superheroes as a whole. I love how their stories between good and evil, right and wrong, the toughest decisions to make, the friends and family to love and all of that jazz can really affect an audience whether through a comic book or on screen. And I think The Flash is an amazing example of everything like this from Barry himself to his masked counterpart, The Flash. I would love to be a part or at least to see how a comic book world can come to life from the pages like that.
