The Flash – The CW

Following the tremendous success of Smallville and Arrow The CW set it’s sights on creating it’s most ambitious and action-packed superhero series yet and just that with The Flash. With millions of devoted fans around the world tuning in each week to watch the wildly entertaining exploits of one of the most beloved comic book heroes in history, The Flash has become mega-hit primetime series and now select performers could soon be a part of the fun. Casting calls for this weekly hour long thrill ride are taking place now and actors of all ages can submit themselves today for consideration for a number of available roles.

The Flash tells the story of Barry Allen, a young man left near death after being struck by lightening who wakes up 9 months later and discovers he has developed super powers. Armed with the ability to run  at super speed with endless endurance, Barry soon becomes The Flash and dedicates himself to fighting crime in

his hometown of Central City. The Flash stars Grant Gustin (90210, Glee, Affluenza) in the breakout role of Barry Allen/The Flash and a fantastic group of supporting players that includes Danielle Panabaker (Justified, Yours, Mine & Ours, Piranha 3DD), Rick Cosnett (The Vampire Diaries, The Bet, Continuing Fred), Candice Patton (The Game, The Young and the Restless, Grey’s Anatomy), 4-time Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order, Rent, Joyful Noise) and Golden Globe nominee Tom Cavanagh (Ed, Scrubs, Yogi Bear). This action-packed production was created by the triumphant trio of Greg Berlanti (Dawson’s Creek), Geoff Johns (Arrow) and Andrew Kreisberg (Fringe).

    The Flash inspires people to push their limitations and even to believe that everything happens for a reason.
    Some times life does not make a whole lot of sense.
    I was abused as a child and I became used to the idea of a 240lb man hitting my scrawny 13 year old self on a daily basis.

    I always felt inferior because of this. I feared that I would not have the strength to defend myself.
    I spent my entire life coping with this and trying to accept those moments in my life where I could not control or stop the bad things that had happened to me.

    At age 19 I started taekwondo. I trained for as many free hours as I had throughout the day.
    I was good but I was nothing special.

    I kept going, and I also trained in judo, jiu-jitsu, kajukenbo, and finally boxing.

    It was boxing that gave me the mental strength and the peace of mind that I needed… the ability to be calm… because I returned every single day to put up fists against men who were bigger than me. Sometimes they would get angry and frustrated with me, especially when I could run circles around them, but I was never afraid, i never gave up, and I discovered that my nose doesn’t bleed.

    Many men have now become afraid of me as they hold my martial arts skills in such high regards.

    This was all from hard work and persistence.
    I trained so hard… but only to realize that I did not want to fight… How confusing…
    I had put everything I had into this sport… so what now?
    I was torn… I began fighting myself in an attempt to believe that this, boxing, was my path… if not that, then maybe MMA.

    I have trained with world champions. I have seen training partners of mine on TV, watching them fight.
    I cheer them on… but I cannot do what they do… it is not my path.

    I was torn up about this for a whole year, trying to fight against or make sense of my love for boxing and the other fighting arts that I would train in.

    I finally decided that I wanted to try acting. Acting, if I were to be granted an action role, would allow me to practice and express my art. Acting would allow me to inspire people without having to hurt anyone. Acting would allow me to feel loved and appreciated for who I am.

    I do not expect such a big opportunity as my first shot, but a friend of mine knows that I am a fan of the ahow and she suggested this to me.

    If you have a combat-oriented role for a quirky and seductive red head (i can be either, or both) i would love to have a chance at it.

    There would be very few limitations as to what I could do physically. I am an athlete. I normally train for 4 to 8 hours a day.

    I would love to have the chance to audition for the role of Bart Allen whenever he appears on the show. Season 5 is looking like a possibility and it would be amazing if I could bring him to the Arrowverse. I naturally have the same energetic and humorous attitude that Bart has and I would look damn good in the suit. People say I have an impish, elf-like look and i’m often mistaken as younger than my actual age. Bart has long hair in the comics and my fabulous locks could work perfectly with the right conditioner. I have a pretty toned body that’s not insanely muscular but looks good in a tight shirt. I do hard workout’s on my core and abs so yes, I do have a 6 pack.The last acting i’ve done was in kindergarten when I did drama classes with my friends but it shouldn’t be a problem, I can get emotional when I need to. Even if Bart is not the right role for me, just having a part in the show would be an amazing opportunity and maybe it could lead to something greater down the road.

    I am not a actor not any experience, I am chubby and have flaws. I won’t be the best choice for any role and I can by shy in front of camera but can do my best, but I have watched the show Flash since the beginning never missing it, love it and best shows on CW. I will be watching season 4. I would love to have one chance to be a extra, non speaking seen on camera in background or close to actor walking or something simple.
