The Amazing Spider-Man 2 – Movie Casting Call

With summer’s The Amazing Spider-Man being a critical and fan favorite and ringing up over $750 million in worldwide box office receipts  it was only a matter of time until a sequel was announced – and that time is now! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to roll in front of cameras in the new year and the producers and casting directors of this exciting project are already beginning their search for new talent to join the incredible cast. Auditions for roles of all sizes will be taking place soon and submissions for consideration are being accepted today from aspiring performers of all ages.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will continue the fantastic saga of young Peter Parker and his superhero alter ego. Speculation has begun that in this new installment the film will introduce the character of Parker’s friend Harry Osborn (played by Academy Award Nominee James Franco in the original trilogy of films) and the comic series’ fan favorite villain Electro is rumored to do battle with Spidey and be played by Oscar Winner Jaime Foxx. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will once again be directed by the fantastically talented Marc Webb ((500) Days of Summer) and will find Andrew Garfield (The Social Network, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Never Let Me Go) and Emma Stone (The Help, Superbad, Zombieland) returning to their iconic roles. The Amazing Spider-Man was a runaway smash hit and this new sequel promises to be even bigger. This is a casting opportunity of a lifetime that any aspiring performer of any age must take a shot at.     Played a scene where all of us extras were in a movie theatre (a setting in Universal Studios) and had to look up at a screen and watch it for almost 4 hours, showing a lot of facial expressions, like saying ”Awww” or ”Ooo” .
    It took patience, but it was very fun.

I love to act, model and even more importantly, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE The Amazing Spider-man and it would be an honor to be in the sequel with the amazingly talented cast and the best director yet, Marc Webb. I’m 15 (but can pass for 18 if that’s what this role entitles haha), I am very educated, I have a great memory and an even better personality, or so my mother tells me!
