Disney auditions are being held for their Spirit of Aloha Dinner show! If you have always wanted to perform at Walt Disney World, here is your chance! Disney is looking for male and female vocalists, and female actors for the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show performed live at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL. The new casting call is looking to fill several roles in the show. An open casting call is being held on Tuesday, January 10th at 2:00pm at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Wardrobe/ Rehearsal Facility.

About “Spirit of Aloha”

This musical theatre style interpretation of a classic Hawaiian Luau combines traditional Polynesian dance with contemporary music while celebrating the meaning of “ohana” and the spirit of aloha. Celebrate the spirit of aloha with spellbinding dancers, drummers and a show-stopping fire-knife performer. Auntie Wini is hosting a fun-filled luau to say goodbye to one of the local girls who’s headed to the “mainland” for college. [Disney]

What They Are Looking For

Kimo: Leading man pop tenor to G# who moves well. Strong athletic build a plus. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is a plus.

Howie: Male comedic pop tenor to G# who moves well. Strong comedic actor with medium build. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is a plus.

Auntie Wini: Mature female character actress who sings, with good comedic timing and moves well. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is a plus.

Scout: Female, strong comedic actor who moves well. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is required.

Leilani: Female, slender comedic actor with strong movement ability. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is required.

How to Apply

Disney auditions are being held on Tuesday, January 10th at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Kissimmee, Florida. If you fit one of the above roles you may attend the auditions at the date and time below!

Sign-in: 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM
Auditions will be at 2:00pm. You must sign in between 1:30 and 2:00pm. Do not be late or you won’t be able to audition.

Performers must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.

Please provide a current headshot and resume.

Vocalists: Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre selection, and provide sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist

Female Actors: a side will be provided at the audition.

Callbacks to be held August 15, 2016 in Orlando.
