The casting directors of a new TV show are looking for talent to play different speaking roles. CL Casting is the casting authority for the upcoming show, and they are looking for comedic actors to play speaking roles. It is important that the comedic actors have had professional improvisation training. The casting directors require actors to play different roles including a police officer, principal, vice principal, and many other roles.

They will take in-person auditions on February 22, Monday. The casting directors are also accepting video tape auditions. Continue reading to know more details about video tape auditions.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

According to the casting crew, this is a comedy show.  If you have received any improvisation training that you have not mentioned in your resume then make sure to mention it in the email.

Required Roles

For now, the casting crew is looking for a number of actors to play the following roles.

School Principal

This school principal is in his mid 40’s. He is African-American and he should be very smart and clever. The character should have a business-like look along with witty comedy timing.

• Ethnicity: African-American
• Specialty: Corporate look with great comedy timing

Vice Principal

An African American woman in her mid 40’s is required to play the role of a vice principal. With a laid-back demeanor and corporate look, the actor for this role must be able to quickly change expressions and tone from serious to comedic.

• Gender: Female
• Age: mid 40’s
• Ethnicity: African-American
• Specialty: Corporate, laid-back demeanor, quickly changes from seriousness to witty

Police Officer

This Caucasian male in his mid 40’s should be tall and have a very charming personality. Balding males would be preferred for this job. The police offer may also be needed to do some voice over work. Therefore, actors with good voice quality will be preferred. If you have any real life experience of working with any law enforcement authority then make sure to include it in your email.

• Specialty: Handsome, good voice quality, prepared for voice over, balding

Robby

The casting directors will choose the character of Robby. The actors applying for this job must be in their 20’s or look like in their 20’s.  People who use a wheelchair on regular basis for any purpose would be preferred.

• Age: 18-30
• Ethnicity: Any ethnicity
• Specialty: Expertise in using wheelchair

Girls Class #1 and #2

Asian or Hispanic females are required to play the character of class girls #1 and #2. Young girls in their teens to mid 20’s are needed for this role.

• Age: 18-25
• Ethnicity: Asian, Hispanic, or mixed

Instructions for Subject Line

Write down the name of the role for which you are applying in the subject line. For example, write, “Vice Principal” in the subject line if you are applying for the role of Vice Principal. If you want to apply for multiple roles then mention only one role in the subject line and mention the remaining roles in the email body.

Auditions

The casting directors will take in-person auditions in Atlanta on February 22, Monday. The exact location of auditions will be mentioned to the selected candidates. You can also email your video tape auditions to MDExtremeCasting@gmail.com by the midnight of February 23, Tuesday. Any auditions received after the midnight of February 23 will not be entertained.

Special Instructions

This casting notice is specifically for people who are 18+. The casting directors will not entertain minors on sets, or in the auditions. Please apply for the roles only if you are 18 years of age or above.
