HBO Open Casting Call for Kids & Adults

Five-time Academy Award nominated actress Amy Adams is getting ready to film a new movie and there is an open casting call being held. The auditions for the HBO movie “Sharp Objects” is searching for adult and child models and actors. Men and women who are ages 18 and up as week as kids ages 6 and up are needed. “Sharp Objects” is based on the best-selling novel of the same name.  Adams extraordinary acting has earned her Oscar nods for her roles in “American Hustle”, “The Master”, “The Fighter, “Doubt” and “Junebug”. She has been nominated for an impressive 7 Golden Globe Awards winning two of them for her roles in “Big Eyes” and “American Hustle”. The movie will be filming in Redwood Valley, California. Open auditions are being held on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 between 10:00 am and 4:30 pm in Ukaih, California.

About Sharp Objects”

Sharp Objects centers on reporter Camille Preaker (Amy Adams) who, fresh from a brief stay at a psychiatric hospital, must return to her tiny hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. Trying to put together a psychological puzzle from her past, Camille finds herself identifying with the young victims a bit too closely. What They Are Looking For

Casting directors are actively seeking males and females of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities. Adults must be over the age of 18. They are also looking for kids who are ages 6 and older. These are for non union background extra roles.

Filming will be in the Redwood Valley, California area so you should be local if you would like to apply.

The pay rate is $84.00 for 8 hours plus overtime for anything over 8 hours. You should plan on making yourself available for the entire day or night. Meals will be provided while working.
