Casting Call for Men & Women for 12.21.09 in North Carolina

There is a new original play that follows the deployment of Lt. Alexandra Sparrow that raises questions of race, parenthood and family.  The production will be on September 3rd, 2013.  Casting directors are looking for an Asian male and female and African American men and women to be in the play.  It is titled 12.21.09.  The theatre show will be taking place in North Carolina, so local actors are preferred.

About the Play

An original play that depicts days leading up to the deployment of Lt. Alexandra Sparrow; as she contemplates who will act as guardian to her four-year-old son. A pulsation of scenes challenging race, parenthood and the dynamics of family, 12.21.09’s suspenseful first act was conceived to facilitate difficult conversation. This is an experimental production of the first act that will be live streamed for audiences across the U.S; the production is meant to be hyper interactive encouraging dialogue between company and audience.
