Open Casting Call for Extras for HBO’s Series “Big Little Lies” in California

There is an amazing opportunity to audition to be on the set with an all-star cast.  The upcoming HBO series “Big Little Lies” is looking for background actors to appear on the show. The new series will be starring some of Hollywood’s biggest actresses. Academy Award winning actresses Reese Witherspoon and HBO and Rich King Casting are looking for background actors to work on the new series Big Little Lies, and casting directors will be holding an open casting call at Embassy Suites Hotel Monterey Bay on May 1st.

About the HBO series “Big Little Lies”

Described as a darkly comic drama, the seven-episode series centers on three mothers of first-graders in Monterey whose apparently perfect lives unravel to the point of murder. It stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Adam Scott, Alexander Skarsgard and Laura Dern.

How to Audition

Auditions will be held on May 1st at the Embassy Suites Hotel Monterey Bay.

The address is 1441 Canyon Del Rey Blvd. and meet in the Laguna Grande D ballroom between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Candidates should bring a current 3-by-5-inch photo of yourself and a pen.

Background actors will be compensated $80 for eight hours and overtime starts after the 8th hour. The casting states you should plan on making yourself available for the entire day or night on the shoot days. Meals will be provided while working.
