Teen Casting Call for PSA

An upcoming campaign is searching for teen models and actors. The casting call is looking for teens ages 16 – 20ish years old. The team is looking to fill four main roles. Filming will be in New Orleans, Louisiana. Males and females must be non-union and be good actors because there will be a lot of speaking. Self-taped video submissions are being accepted for the first casting round. In-person teen actor auditions will be held in New Orleans. The shoot will be for one or two days between June 20th and June 30th. This is a great paying job. Pay for selected actors is $650.00 per day, $500.00 for the usage, $1150.00 for one day and $1800.00 if needed to shoot 2 days. About the Campaign

Morgan Casting is looking for teens – early 20s for a non-union Web Video for an anti-smoking campaign / PSA for a major hospital. The pay rate for teens who are selected is $650.00 per day, $500.00 for the usage, $1150.00 for one day and $1800.00 if needed to shoot 2 days. This is for web video / full buyout.

What They Are Looking For

Casting directors are looking for the following:

Seeking good actors who can handle several pages of dialogue.

Must be non-union.

Must work local hire to New Orleans if booked

No live casting session for 1st rounds

We are accepting self-taped auditions from those asked/selected

There will be a live callback in New Orleans – date TBA

[KHEA A] (16.) Must be legal 18 but reads younger. Mixed ethnicity (or reads to look mixed race). Smart, tough, opinionated. An introvert, but skilled at pretending she’s an extrovert. Though she’s young, her eyes reveal an old soul. Parents are divorced. She wishes she could skip her teenage years and be an adult already. But in the meantime, she must survive. And to survive, she has to fit in. It’s a constant battle between who she really is vs. who her peers want her to be. At times, when the burden of fitting in becomes unbearable, she isolates herself, which is why her classmates find her bizarre, but they are drawn to her compassion.

[LUCAS A] (17). Must be legal 18 but reads younger. Hispanic or reads to look Hispanic/Latino. Khea’s best friend. Extroverted. A kind face, tall (do not limit based on height please), handsome, a ladies man. Warm and funny. He shines. Every kid wants to be in his light. Stubborn and immature at times, he lives in the moment. He can be recklessly impulsive. Wants people to believe he’s got everything under control because so many of his peers look up to him as a role model. When he messes up, he won’t admit it. Views vulnerability as a weakness. He plays soccer, but deep down inside he wants to be an artist. Open to Caucasian guys with darker more Mediterranean coloring and features. Preference is no blonds/blue eyes (although we know there are many in Spanish Speaking countries, this is not the stereotypical look desired). Think Spain, Mexico, Argentina, etc…also open to Greek, Italian, Brazilian and so forth.
