For the past year, i have been trying everything I can to meet the boys and get tickets to their concert. My friend Mariah and I, worked together to do everything we could to get tickets. We made a great team. Sadly, my parents said that I couldn’t go and that school was more important. Of course, I decided to go with the flow and try to eneter contests to win instead. No luck 🙁 Everyday, I listen to their music and watch videos of them on youtube. They are the first band ever to actually make me stand up and sing and just go crazy! They’ve taught me to be confident and never stop dreaming. Now, I’m not afraid to be crazy old me in public. (I was not always the type to just be weird in public, but that’s defenitley changed over the past few years). One Direction is a part of my life and I will always be a dedicated fan. But here are the reasons why, I think, i will be a great part of this show: 1) Cameras do not scare me. I will not cry and stutter if a camera is aimed at me. 2) This could be really good on my college resume. I want to have a good job and education is a big part of my life. I’ve always been a good student and being on this show won’t distract me. 3) Ever since I was little, I wanted to be in front of the camera. Not to get attention, just to be there and be part of the action. I’ve been in several plays and always auditioned for the main part. Sometimes I got it, other times I didn’t. Thats life! 4) I’m a people person. If i want to make a friend, I go up to the person and say, “Hey! I’m Sheryl, whats your name?” And i love to talk. People say I don’t talk like a 12 year old and I’m really not sure why…..hmmm… 5) One Direction. The five boys that make me smile the minute I get up. The boys that make me go crazy. The boys that taught me to be myself and forget about what others think. The boys that taught me to dream. And that’s what I’m doing right now. Being a part of this show, would make my dreams come true. I can’t even explain how happy I would be, that I found out I was going to be a part of this awesome show. I go for a goal, and I don’t stop until I get to the top. As I’m typing this, I’m thinking of what it would be like to get an email back from you guys. And that’s what I’m going for.
