Hobbies: 4.SWIMMING-I love to swim, and I am very, very good 3.DANCING-when I was little I used to take dance classes 2.SINGING-sometimes I am in my room, doing homeworks and I just start to sing, in the 5th grade I was in school cruise, it was awesome but our teacher left and the new one is kind of weird 1.WATCHING MOVIES- I really like watching movies and then interpret them , it is kind of fun I really want to play in this movie, is my dream to became a famous actress , since I was 5 I knew that this is what I want to do. When you are an actor you can be a superhero, a medicine, an astronaut, you can be whatever you want. When I was 9 I started taking acting lessons with a very famous actress in our country , she was very nice and cute I miss her. When I was 10 I played in my first movie . It was a short movie but it was AWESOME. When the shots for the movie were over it was like a pice of me died and after that I realized that acting is what I want to do for the rest of my life , I want to be a 100 people and still to be me. I want to feel again that pleasure of being in front of the camera and acting a little pice of me. Leah LavonneHello my name is Leah Lavonne. I am Filipino-American and I’m 20. I know it sounds old, but believe it or not I can pass for 16, because I still dress and act like a teenager (or maybe because I am a child by heart- I still watch kid shows up to this day- I’m still obsessed with Hannah Montana) I can sing and act. I’ve been trained classically- Broadway (so think of Disney Princess kind of voice- Lea Salonga to be specific), but I do sing pop as well. I’ve loved Disney Channel since I was a kid. I have a lot of theatrical experience such as Annie (Annie), Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat (solo narrator), Bat Boy (Meredith) and many many more. The problem is right now I am in living in the Philippines now (but I was born and raised in the States.) If possible, I would love to send a video audition and if you guys like me, then I can fly over to L.A. Just send me some lines to act out or I can sing a song (just please tell me if you want a Disney Princess sound or a late pop song.) I know this sounds cheesy and you guys probably get a million of these messages a day, but it really would be a dream come true for me if I can audition through a video and then go there for a live audition (I know you guys don’t do this kind of thing, but if you could make an exception that would really be most appreciated) or that you guys read this and respond. When I was 9, I was asked twice by Disney to audition and by Nick too, but I didn’t take the opportunity, because of my father’s death (I had a hard time dealing with it.) I was bullied very badly in middle school, so I have been depressed most of my life and didn’t spend so much time thinking about my career. I also have a sister who I think would be perfect for Disney Channel. She can sing, dance and act, especially dancing. She’s very graceful. She’s very funny and very down-to-earth. We are both hard working, smiley and easy to work with. The characters I’m very good in portraying is usually the villain, the dumb girl or the protagonist who is treated badly by everyone and my sister is the humorous character, because she just knows how to randomly crack jokes. I’m pretty sure I won’t get a reply, because I’m too old and live too far away, but the only thing I can say is I have a very sweet, angelic voice. It’s cool to the ear and distinctive (like Lea Salonga’s) and I don’t mean to brag, but I think it’s worth listening to (I will admit I’m not the world’s best actress, because I did not get a lot of training, but I am raw/natural talent. I honestly need a lot of work and polishing, but I am more than willing to learn new techniques and new things. I don’t have a diva attitude.) My sister’s voice is like Miley Cyrus (actually if you listen to her version of The Climb it’s almost identical.) A country/pop/rock kind of vibe to it. Even getting a reply is like a one in a million (and I’m pretty sure I’m not that one) but anything is possible and you will never know unless you try. I also love children and I have a very exotic look (I can look Vietnamese, Spanish or Arabic.) Anyway, I better wrap this up. I’m very hard working (I actually live for work and won’t stop until I finished what I started), I’m a trendster (I’m unique and I love being different) and the best thing is I’m very humble and I am not open and have never and will never do drugs or drink- it’s bad for the voice lol (I’m above the influence.) Yep the same thing you hear from every comment. Every comment will say they want to act on Disney and they are not afraid to. I can do all those things like memorise my lines and all. However I have a vision a dream not to just become an actress but become a successful one in Hollywood who is Indian. You hardly fin Indian girls in Hollywood if you do they are most definitely mixed race. The show how to be indie wasn’t a success and put a lot of hopes down for young Indian girls. I didn’t lose hope and never will. I keep going auditions hoping to be on Disney but unfortunately I have experienced a lot of racism. I really want to succeed and be the next Disney star who is not american but is Indian. You will definitely find a thousand girls whoo can sing act dance and can easily revise lines however after becoming a star they will not be an inspiration or give hope to those Asian and especially Indian girls out there. I want to act on Disney but not as a stereotype role. I want a role that represent equality. A role that could be given to a white, black, brown, African, american or Asian. I really just want for once in life be equal and prove something of myself. I want to show that just because I am Indian does not mean I have to be a account, doctor or engineer. Oh yes these stereotypes daily. Anyways I really do want to be an actress but more than that I want to be a motivation. Anyone actress can motivate kids to be who they are but they won’t be able to tell the story I can. They will never have that effect that I will.
