Alyssa GrimesHi there, my name is Alyssa, I’m twelve years old, though I turn thirteen on January 2nd, I’m in 7th grade, and my dream is to be an actress and/or singer. I have long, really curly dark brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, and I wear glasses. I’m 5’7 and haven’t really adjusted to my body yet, so I’m kind of awkward when it comes to sports and such. I’ve had this dream since I was five years old, when I would watch Hannah Montana and think ‘that’s what I want to be one day.’ Once the show went off, I kind of forgot about my dream for a while, but with my recent obsession with Girl Meets World, it’s back and stronger than ever. I have been in two plays, but I’m not going to lie, I only had a few lines, therefore I don’t have much acting experience, but I’m looking to change that. And if that fall through, I always have my voice, which I have a lot more experience using. I have been in numerous talent shows, and I practice singing every day. I’ve been told that I have a wonderful voice, and that gives me the courage to actually look for an audition. I have to believe that if I work hard enough, one day my dream might come true. Though the odds are against me- I live in a small town and don’t have much money to travel to auditions, I have to try. God can only bring me so far- I have to meet Him halfway and do my part and work to achieve my dream. And I understand that I can’t become a star overnight, but just give me a chance, and I promise I’ll do good. Not well, but good, like Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World told Cory, Topanga, Shawn, and Eric. All I want is a chance, and if you’ll give it to me, I will be forever grateful. As for experience,I’m foreign so I haven’t been part of any of your castings before,BUT I HAVE been on TONS of schoolplays, (always if that counts) so I’m pretty used with memorizing lines.And I’ve been performing live on stange since I was 5 ’cause I was and still am part of a musical group.I can play the piano,and I’m pretty good at it ’cause it’s the 7th year I’ve been doing this.Also,I can dance pretty good since I’ve been taking Hip-Hop lessons for 3 years and a half.And I can sing too! LaurenEveryone has grown up watching Disney Channel. Including me! But I was different than all the other kids. When I was little I used to watch Disney and say “That’s going to be me someday..” or ” how would I play that part?” When I read books I think “Ooh I can totally play that part” Hi I’m Lauren and I’m almost 13. I go to a Performing Arts school and I have been in many plays, and acting and singing is my dream. All my acting teachers said I should tryout and stuff, but I’ve never had time. I am pretty tall for my age so I can look like I’m 11,12,13,14 or maybe even 15. I have chestnut colored hair and I hope to get auburn highlights. My parents pray for me everyday so I can one day Show the world who I really am. I was shy about a year ago but now I overcame it. I was born here in Atlanta,GA BUT the rest of my family was born in Russia. So I can speak 2 languages. I am Caucasian btw. Lol. I really hope I get in.
