Ashley BrunkerI just celebrated my 28th birthday and spent hours with my friends playing this game! I am extremely competitive and love these types of challenges which is why I would be a great contestant for Minute To Win It. In addition, I just know that my 4yr old son would have a blast watching mommy compete! I’m currently pursuing my degree for Respiratory Therapy here in Green Bay, WI and because I don’t have astronomical student loans yet (thank the Lord), I would graciously take a portion of my winnings and donate it to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Wounded Warriors charities, respectively. My fiance and I are in the process of short selling our home. Unfortunately, he lost his job of 4 years after succumbing to severe PTSD symptoms that he obtained during a 11 month tour to Afghanistan with his Army unit in 2004/2005 where he sustained injuries during an IED (improvised explosive device) explosion while on a humanitarian aid mission. Micah CristFirst- I’m a competitive, outgoing, likeable person with a great sense of humor. My personality is a perfect fit for the show and I’m confident I would go far- and hopefully win the million! 🙂 For that I should be considered for the show. But on a more personal note here is my story in a nutshell. At 29 years old I’ve seen and been through many things. Growing up, my 3 brothers and sister didn’t have much. My mother saw many struggles as a single mom raising 5 children all under the age of 7. My childhood and the struggles I’ve seen as an adult are what drives me today. It has made me a stronger, more determined individual. Everything I have, I’ve worked for- nothing has ever been handed to me and I don’t take anything for granted. While my siblings didn’t all choose a life on the right path I rose above, put myself through college, and when I was 21 moved out to Arizona for the police academy. 7 years in law enforcement opened my eyes to a lot of things. Unfortunately, my path as a police officer ended due to some unfortunate circumstances which has made life for the past few years very difficult financially and emotionally, not just for me but for my wife and my son. Essentially I lost everything I’ve worked so hard for. I know I will see through this adversity one way or another, but an opportunity to compete on Minute to win it would be a blessing for me and my family. Now married to the woman of my dreams (newlyweds for 3 months now) starting our lives as husband and wife on a not so fortunate note I would like to be given a chance to come on to the show and win the BIG MILLION! This would give me the opportunity to provide for my wife- take her on a honeymoon, provide for my son a life I didn’t have and give back to my mother.Can’t wait to hear from the show! Jason ForsytheHi. My name is Jason Forsythe and im 22 years old and the reason why I should be selected because of my determination to work hard. The reason Why Im so determine Because growing Up I dId not have much. When i was 12 my dad lost his job and his pay got cut in half. My mom had to work multiple jobs to pay bills and my parents file bankruptcy multiple times to keep our house. So i never expected anything so i work hard because I knew nothing is guarantee and i want to give back to parents. My parents were not able to give me anything so i want to give them everything because i know they tried to their best with what they had and because of that they are truly great parents. Because of this i became a better person because i never expect anything.
