When I walk into a building, I’m always the center of attention without even talking, I’m serious, (See it for yourself). I’m used to being in front of big crowds due to my MBA (Powerpoints), Bachelor in Business (Presentations), and sports (Basketball and Football). I haven’t been able to find my way into the corporate world, for some strange reason, which I think it’s a sign for me to do something else. I have exhausted all my resources trying to work a 9 to 5 and trying to find a business type of job. Acting is something I loved to do when I was young but never thought it could be a career for me because I was focused on playing basketball. Now, because I really need a job, I had to think way back into my childhood to see what I was really good at and acting was it and is something I want to pursue. The directors, producers, and writers of this show have continually surprised me with the plot and the drama of ‘Jane The Virgin’. Joy JacobsonOnce I saw one episode, I couldn’t stop until I had seen them all. I turned to my roommate and said, “I don’t know how to explain it, it just makes me feel good, you know?” I love this show and I love the heart and soul that they put on screen and I love the authenticity, the truth, the weirdness of each performance. I’m drawn to the goodness in Jane that comes through yet doesn’t outshine her hilarious relatability. It’s addicting because it’s good- people recognize this and we need more good in our lives.
