I couldn’t help but to think of the lyrics in the song, (If Loving You Is Wrong) and how Mr. Perry would portray the dynamics of the five couples. I believe this project will surpass all of Mr. Perry’s previous projects to date. The reason I believe it will surpass all of the other projects is because people from all over the world can relate to the title. I would love to be involved in the casting call for this project because I am a mature woman with many relationships in my past. I have been the woman listening to her man having sex with another woman. I know how hard your heart can beat in your chest, until you are visibly shaking. I know what it feels like to love a much younger man and deal with the pressures of society. I know what it feels like to get abused mentally and physically. I know what it feels like to be in a relationship and your relatives think the man is not good enough. I know the pains and joys of love. I started acting at the age of 6 years old. Throughout my school days, I was always in plays. In my high school yearbook the prediction was that I would be in Hollywood in ten years. I thought that too, until my best friend and reading coach was killed in a car accident. The death of my younger sister put a void in me so deep that I couldn’t think about acting without her. For years I wondered why I felt so empty inside, until I realized it was because I wasn’t fulfilling my destiny. In 2009, I became so distraught and depressed that I packed up my house and moved to Austin, TX. While living in Austin I decided to try to live the life that I believe I’m supposed to live. So, I started auditioning for and acting in a few plays and movies there. What a revelation it was. I felt the void getting smaller and smaller. I felt alive again. In December 2011, my dad had to have surgery and I moved back to Atlanta to care for him. He’s doing well now, so that’s no longer an issue. I have also been told that I show my emotions on my face. That, I think, is perfect for the camera, because the most powerful words are sometimes not spoken out loud. If I am chosen, you will be working with a professional. Patricia L ElzieI know I have what it takes to be an actor or singer, because gifts are given by God and he has equipped me with these talents and I have known since I was a child, that I was destined to be great, I don’t mean this is a negative sense, I mean God has given me dreams and I want to take those dreams to another level. I believe in Love because God is Love and some people take Love for granted but to me Love is the most effectual Gift Of Life, without it we are just living in a Fantasy World with no meaning for existence. I Think Taylor Perry movies are realistic and spiritual and he is one of God’s gifts to society who gives all people of all races a chance to make their dreams a reality and I believe in me, and the abilities that was given to me by Our Creator. With him all things are possible!! Also, I think of this project is a good one because it teaches couples how to love and respect each other as a whole. I dance too, I’ve done ballet and hip-hop since I was quite young. If you accept me, I promise I will try my absolute best, always give 200% and never give up. I know that it is a huge opportunity and I will make the best of it. I’m sure I’d get along really well with the cast! This has been my dream since I can remember, when I was little I always used to ask my family to give me lines or scenes and I would act them out for them. Now that I’m older, I know I want to do this for a living and just be able to do what I love everyday. I know that there are so many trained actors and people that have had so much more experience than me, but if you just give me a chance I’ll show you what I’m capable of. Acting is such an amazing thing, you get to be someone else and you have to figure out how your character would speak, act in daily life.
