Kids & Adults Extras Casting Call

Academy Award winning actress Hillary Swank is filming a new movie and there are a lot of background extra roles available! The casting call is looking for kids and adults for several roles. Filming will be in Chicago, Illinois and the surrounding areas. Models and actors ages 18 to 65 along with kids ages 4 to 14 are needed. The independent feature film will be compensating non-union extras $84.00 for 8 hours of filming. All applicants must be available for filming on Thursday, March 23rd, Friday, March 24th, Monday, March 27th, Tuesday, March 28th, Wednesday, March 29th and possible for one or two days in April. About “What They Had”

The story follows Hillary Swank’s character, who has to travel back home to help take care of her mother (Blythe Danner), whose Alzheimer’s takes a turn for the worse after an incident on Christmas Eve. Michael Shannon plays her brother, Forster plays Swank’s father, and Farmiga plays her daughter. Production is set to start next week in Chicago. [Variety]

What They Are Looking For

We are looking for people to play the following:

Hospital Staff and Patient/Visitors – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 18 – 65: if you have scrubs/lab coat, please let us know in the submission, and include a photo if possible.

3/24 (Chicago @ McCormick Place/Subject to Change)
Make-Out Couple – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Age 20s, we are looking for a real-life couple to make out during the scene. Please submit as a couple, and confirm you are comfortable kissing for the camera.

Teenage Lovebirds – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Age 18-19, we are looking for two teenagers who are at the airport sharing an ice cream. Let us know if you would be comfortable holding hands in the scene. You can submit as a real-life couple.

Travelers w/Cars (no black, no red, no white vehicles) – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 18 – 55, please make sure to include the make, model, year and COLOR of your vehicle in the submission.

Send 2 RECENT candid photos in jpeg format (both close up and full length). Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting (no selfies), no sunglasses, no hats! Show us your style but make sure we can see your face! The better the photo, the better your chance of being submitted.
Most importantly… Please rename your photo with your FIRST and LAST name. Right click on the photo and it will give you an option to re-name the file, Re-name it with your full name.

Confirm your mode of transportation.

If you are a minor, 15 years or younger, your parent must complete your submission. Your parent must include the name of the employer listed on the work permit, and fill out the master survey on our Facebook page for minors.

If you are submitting for stand-in, please make sure to include your on-set or stand-in experience.

Complete the master survey dated 3.16 to 4.4, if you are a minor, complete the master survey for children on our Facebook page.
