I think, maybe, a little diversity in the industry would be nice, yes? If I could compare our lives to pervious TV shows I would say that we are a mixture of Single Ladies, Sex in the city, Kardashians , and a little spice of bad girls club. We don’t hold back, we follow our own rules, and some times we fail at that, but most importantly we handle out selves elegantly most of the time. JoAnna ArmstrongHi my name is JoAnna Armstrong and am a 20 years old. I would love the opportunity to audition for this show, for I could use my own personal experiences to help expose the reality of what many woman go through on a day to day basis. First off, I am 5’2, 105 pounds, dirty blonde hair, and have blue eyes. I was born into a middle class christian family in the suburbs of New York, and attended both a private school and later on a public school. Living in a christian home has been wonderful, however it is much stricter than the typical home. Currently, I attend community college and will be graduating with an associates degree in Graphic Deign at the end of this semester. I originally had gone away to school in Maryland, however i missed home and decided it would be best to come home. This upcoming fall I will be furthering my education at Cazenovia College to receive my bachelors. Many of my friends would say I have an awkward and silly personality… which I agree with. I love to joke around and make others laugh. My family is so important to me and supportive despite our religious views. I look up to my determined younger sister who is a musician, and my older brother who is an actor in the Broadway production Spider-Man. I also have an amazing boyfriend of four years, whom I am lucky to call my best friend. To keep this quick synopsis of my life “real”, It is important for me to note that I have been fighting through an eating disorder since the 7th grade. I first went to rehab at the age of 14. At this point I had lost all of my friends and switched schools. At age 17 I received treatment again here in New york. This past summer i flew to San Diego to again get some help. It is a daily struggle to ignore the media and pressures I hear in my head. I want to help other girls fight as well. Having an audition for this show would mean everything. I also like going to the casino, going tosee musicals in the city , or like morning shows being in the audience is a fun experience. Waking up at crazy hours to stand on lines in the city is something I do a lot with family or friends I love doing stuff like that. I would really like to go back to school, I just can’t afford it right now .i have my AS in liberal arts, but I’d like my BA in criminal justice I’d like to help ppl and hopefully change someone’s life.
