Andy DresslerSounds like a fantastic premise, perhaps not so removed from present technology. Hell, jump onto Youtube, and i’ll even bet there’s at least a dozen or so conspiracy theoried videos nearly mirroring the premise of your movie, LOL. On that note however, look at the bright side…. two good things might come of that – 1) If you’re still scripting final pieces of your movie, God knows there’s some pretty fringe stuff you might be able to pick up from some of these guys (likely holed up somewhere 30′ underground with his blow up doll and about 25 years worth of spam and canned beans. 2) If you consider the massive Youtube viewership, perhaps 8-10 million men with an average age ranging from 40-60, half of which likely waking up in the same wife-beater that they went to sleep in……. last week. Great news here, is that every damn last one of them will likely spend the $10 bucks or so at the box office, just so they can again re-live the Armagedon that they keep telling their family is right around the corner. Hey, know what? I’ll be in line for a ticket right behind the last one of them!By the way, aside from my general overall fascination with planets that go “poof into the night”, I’m also a Hurricane Chaser as well, so go ahead and bring on some weather insanity! Tiffany ChuHi, my name is Tiffany Chu. Ever since I got my first part in a school play when I was 8, (I played Cinderella in Character Matters 2) I’ve loved acting and performing. Other than acting, I do physical performing arts like dance and I play instruments (piano/guitar). Acting inspires me so much and the thought of this “activity” excites me. I feel like I don’t want to be myself sometimes because I’m not a very exciting person, to be honest. I live in a suburban area in San Jose, California. But when I act and perform, I feel like somebody else, someone important and I really like that feeling. Being powerless is one of the most feared things in life. When I believe in something, I picture it in my head and follow whatever it is. I would love an experience like this. To be able to act professionally and out of my comfort zone. All my life, I’ve felt unnoticed, not because of my size or socially but mostly because of where I live. I live in a very nice area but nobody really “makes it out of here”. I’m not saying there aren’t chances, I’m just saying chances like these don’t really get accepted from people where I live. Whenever I see people act, it inspires me. I have to admit, I have not been to any “fancy” acting school or had been casted in a movie before. I’ve been in school plays and have done theater. I don’t have many chances since I am only 13. I always am interested in working with actors that have a wide diversity of roles. Some sad, some funny, some emotional. I think that’s the real talent. Not how many awards you get but the way you get them. The way you achieve your goal. When I act, I believe in myself while trying to make others believe me too. If I’m supposed to be a stupid, mean girl, I try to make me believe it first. If I believe in myself and the role I’m working on, I find it that others will too. I find this movie extremely fun and adventurous. I would really like to start a career in acting because I’ve always been inspired when I see really good roles open. I’m used to being in front of big crowds due to my MBA (Powerpoints), Bachelor in Business (Presentations), and sports (Basketball and Football). I haven’t been able to find my way into the corporate world, for some strange reason, which I think it’s a sign for me to do something else. I have exhausted all my resources trying to work a 9 to 5 and trying to find a business type of job. Acting is something I loved to do when I was young but never thought it could be a career for me because I was focused on playing basketball. Now, because I really need a job, I had to think way back into my childhood to see what I was really good at and acting was it and is something I want to pursue. I personally don’t know which one I truly am but I can be a great person to deal with. I’ve been in a couple of plays, Highschool and Gateway Church. StephanieHi… I am writing for my daughter Eloise. She’s 11 1/2. After seeing Through The Woods last night. I had to answer the same round of questions, I am asked every time a child little starlet appears. Mom… when I can do these type roles? I know I am ready… I can sing but I can also act. I have eyes that are the color of the sea and strawberry red hair… how can they not talk to me & give me a shot? Ya gotta love a 11 year olds charm. As a parent you ponder how to fulfill your childs dream and when they’re talented it’s even harder. We live in Greenwich, CT and Eloise takes classes in both acting and singing. She has a few credits to her resume but… that one person that just will roll the dime has yet to appear in our path. She’s unique & her face does draw attention. While on set for Violet & Daisy as an extra… the camera man called me over and said… look at her… look at her face on that screen. She’s meant to do this… pay attention now mom! I laughed and said.. you said that to all the mom’s. He said well no… She is different & don’t you ever forget that. Your her biggest cheerleader. Well.. her scene was cut. It was however an amazing experience. In the fall of 2015 she will appear in a production at the New York Public Theater entitled “Before your very eyes,” a show being brought to stage with 7 kids where they have followed their life, over 18 months. This was previously done in Berlin, Germany with the Gobb Squad. The Gobbers are doing a stateside show in NY. She’s a new face… with lite chops no doubt but… I think you should meet her.
