    Hello my name is Ayberk. And I’m deeply in love with acting for several years now. I have exceptionally good skills of acting and I’ve been in almost every play in my school. I guess that is where my leadership comes from.. Yeah I know these may sound egoist but hey, this is the show bussiness.

    I choose Game of Thrones because I have that “thing” for medieval ages and “swords”. And of course, your show makes me on the edge of my seat.

    To start, I have an overwhelming passion for drama and I am obsessed with Game of Thrones. I feel like I would be an asset to the show as an extra due to my accent, appearance and love for the story-lines and characters. I have the ability to take characters and make them my own as well as portray what is required for the role. While I feel I’d belong in the North due to my dark hair and blue eyes I am somewhat olive skinned so can work in other locations as well like Kings Landing depending on what you are looking for.

    As well as a high grade in GCSE Drama I was a student at SANDs Theatre Arts School for many years, a theatre company in the Oxford area, from which I gained much experience and a number of main roles in their productions as well as the opportunity to perform at the New Theatre. I am currently taking a gap year with the hope of being one of the lucky few to extra on Game of Thrones.

    I believe that I fit the physical description of the character that George R.R. Martin created to be the brutal daughter of Prince Oberyn Martell. I have the ability to learn fight choreography, as well as train and perform with weapons. I have competed in several martial arts tournaments and performed at events. I feel that these skills are imperative to the character and her ability to portray the warrior that she is.

    I read the whole series in 2 months and Obarra is one of my favorite characters. Her attitude and actions towards life are an inspiration to any woman who wakes up every day willing to fight for truth, justice, and of course, her rights. I would love to be the woman who introduces her bad-ass-ness to the world.

    As a viewer of the show and a reader of the books, I have a keen interest in ‘Game of Thrones’ due to it being a Medieval Fantasy, as I have always been fascinated with the Medieval Period of life, and I am particularly obsessed with dragons and magic, often wishing it were real. Acting in ‘Game of Thrones’ would give me the opportunity to live in that environment, with the incredible actors and production team that make the show so realistic. It would be a dream come true.

    Although I have never had any professional acting experience, I thoroughly enjoyed and thrived in school performances and GCSE Drama. I recently auditioned for Star Wars as acting has always been a passion of mine. I would love the chance for action scenes as even as a young boy, I often had sword fights clad in plastic armour against my elder brothers, sometimes resorting to stick fights when we were older. I am confident and a natural performer due to being a musician and ex-gymnast, so I am able to cope with a demanding work load and physical challenges.

    I think I would be an incredible addition to the already outstanding cast and would be very thankful to help take this superb series into the closing stages.     I started watching Game of Thrones only a few months ago and completely fell in love with it. As a woman from Northern England, I am proud to see the Northern accent playing such a prominent role in a show, and I know that I can provide a very authentic Northern accent. The North of Westeros has my favourite characters and storylines, such as Jon Snow and Ygritte, along with the rest of the Wildlings who are always impressive to watch. Stannis turning up at Mance Rayder’s camp in the last episode was my stand out moment of the series, and I am excited to see where that goes and possibly work within that, bringing my rough, Northern attitude to the Spear Wives.

    I don’t have any previous acting experience, but i am always willing to take on new challenges, and my work in a call centre has helped me to memorise scripts, gave me more control over my voice, and made me lose my Yorkshire accent when necessary. Working with the wonderful professionals would make it easy to pick things up straight away. If sword fighting is necessary, while I don’t have any professional experience, my boyfriend and I often sword fight and I am always victorious. I fight as Olivia Stark, Queen of the North, while he is Luke Lannister.

    I will admit, I am definitely not the most experienced actress. In fact, I have really only considered acting since I was 14, being 17 now, that’s not an awfully long time. I do wish I had more experience than simply a GCSE in drama and theatre studies (achieving a Grade B), study of the same subject at A-level (a Grade of B during my first year, currently going into 2nd year of study) and a minor role in a college production of Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’ which was the first time ever I performed in a proper production (also the first time I auditioned for one). But I am also an aspiring violinist and all my free time is spent on musical activities such as orchestra and music workshops rather than theatrical workshops which I would love to attend. However, I have not lost out on development of skills such as performance and group work because I use both often when performing with my orchestra or as a solo performer.

    As for Game of Thrones? Well, April this year, my brother convinced me to watch the Game of Thrones series. I was lucky enough to have all 3 seasons in front of me already and the first 2 episodes of season 4 ready to watch. Once I started watching, I couldn’t stop! I absolutely adore this series and I am currently reading the Song of Ice and Fire books and it is making me love the story, the characters and the world of Game of Thrones even more! It is unlikely that I should ever get a chance to play in such a fantastic series, a series which I am hopelessly awaiting for because April 2015 is really dragging right now! But Emma Watson, having only school plays for previous experience, auditioned for Hermione Granger, her dream role and she got her dream. If she could do it, why shouldn’t I try? I guess I should leave some basic information about me now so without further ado:

    I would do anything to participate in any aspect of this production as I am a keen fan and very enthusiastic actor. I also played one of the main characters in the school production and took one of the leading roles in a few class plays. while doing a lifeguard training drill i convinced my fello trainees that i was actually choking and left the trainee pail faced and the trainer said and i quote “GREAT ACTING”.
