There have been very few works of fiction which I have immersed myself in as a fan to the extent of A Song of Ice and Fire, and I am constantly having to debate with myself as to which characters and which houses are my favourite, since almost all the characters are so multi-faceted, there is so much that I like about so many of them, though I will always have a soft spot for Ser Loras Tyrell, Brienne of Tarth and Rhaegar Targaryen (even though he was dead before the series began!) they’re about as close to true knights as you’re like to get in Westeros, and Finn Jones and Gwendoline Christie are phenomenally good actors! With my 21 years I look quite young, but this maybe depends on the make-up. And I love them, the characters and the world that George created with so many rich words! I found a passion for acting in year 10 and from there on fell in love with leaving behind your own problems and taking on someone else’s, becoming someone who was perhaps completely different to you! It’s such a cathartic process and afterwards you feel like you’ve become wiser from it! I just think it’s incredible! I have performed in a few pieces one being a fantastic play that my drama teacher wrote and directed which was fabulously dark and twisted, much like the character I played!! I am roughly 175cm tall, and I weigh about 75KG. I don’t have a lot of muscle tone, I am more of a skinny, agile type (at least as far as appearances goes)My current occupation is student, I study 3D design and animation at “Noroff” in Norway. but previously I have taken classes in both stage acting, and film making. with these two combined I have learned to bring life to any character. I also write quite a lot, though mostly poetry and movie pilots that I never actually get around to shooting (to be honest I much prefer writing the scenes and I am much more comfortable in front of the camera than behind it.As for the reason I want to join the GOT cast as an extra is mainly for the experience. While I do watch and greatly enjoy the show, what drew me to write this is the thought of being able to be part of a whole different world. Given the fact that I am norwegian I supose it would be no surprice that I regularely attend “viking markets” (basically a large field gets turned into a viking camp for a few days, complete with everything from taverns with live music to traditional blacksmiths). Given my interest for the viking culture I have aquired parts of a viking costume that I sadly cannot afford to finish as of yet (hand made clothing is expensive) as well as a 42-poud longbow that I regularely shootIn conclution, while I enjoy the show to such a degree that I would happily lend a hand to see it continue to be as great as it has been so far, the main reason for my application is my great interest for all things viking and/or medieval.Other relevant information:– As part of my extended family owns a farm I have some experienve with horeback riding– I have an orange belt (3rd rank from the bottom) in kung fu, though admittedly I am not an active practitioner as of now, but as a result I can handle a few cuts and bruises.– I have taken a 5 hour coarse in unarmed stage combat– I occationally do “parkour”– And lastly, I have taken a few private lessions in voice acting with Marc Cashman, so I do have a slightly above average controll over my voice.Looking forward to your reply (should the reply be negative I would ask that you let me know either way if possible)With kind regards: -Daniel Hagen 0 Reply June 26, 2014

Jack WildHello! I’m Jack Wild. I’m 15 – Just turing 16 in August! 😀 I’ve being watching Game of Thrones for a long time. Been sticking to all the Youtube footage and the news and everything about it basically. I’ve been studying Drama at my School (Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School) and I’ve just completed my GCSE for it. Predicted an A. Maybe even an A star. My dream goal is to become an Actor but. One of the main reasons I would like to get a part on Game of Thrones is because of the cast. They are simply enthralling. They are all really good friends with each other and have a lot of respect for each other. Just to be able to meet these people would be amazing. let alone being able to work by their side. If it is possible for me to get a part. It would give me great confidence for anything else (If I die in the Game of Thrones! I would hope not if I got a part.). Reece KerleyI haves wanted to be part if ” Game if Thrones” ever since the series started. I am only 15 but I am taking drama for GCSE and would like to follow acting as a career. I am 6 ft tall and weigh around 80kg ( mostly muscle) and am from England. I have quite a lot of acting experience and have been in most of the school productions. I played Oberon in ” A midsummers nights dream” and was even apart of a short film which was put into many film festivals. I can mimic a few accents quite well and practice whenever I can.
