I got into Game of Thrones a bit late, after everyone had already told me that “every body dies!!!” at the end of Season 3, but, since borrowing the DVD from my best friend in Australia, I’ve been hooked.I came home a week ago (back to the UK) and I’ve been looking to do some acting and singing alongside my job (managing a restaurant). It’s something I have always been a part of, and really enjoy, and although I love my job, it’s really just to pay the bills.I just stumbled upon this page whilst looking for auditions and think the project is a fantastic idea. It means people from all walks of life can have the opportunity to be in a programme that’s so successful and so interesting to follow. Even if it’s working as an extra or a starring role, the experience in working on a show with such prestige is an amazing opportunity and these days aspiring actors and actresses are constantly fighting for just a small chance to prove what they can do.I would love to be part of Game of Thrones, no matter how small the role. Given the opportunity, it would be a fantastic learning curve, as well as something to work hard at and be proud of. Laura BäckerMy name is Laura Bäcker and i come from a little village in Germany. I´m obsessed with Game of Thrones and it´s genius characters. I have no experience with acting but i´m sure i would fit very well in that epic show. After i´ve finished an apprenticeship (design and visual communication) i´m on my way to become an educator.
