Theatre Auditions – Atlanta – GADo you want to star in a play? Theatre auditions are being held for the upcoming production of “For the Love of Mama”! Sheree’s Studio Theatre is holding a casting call for actors. Casting directors are looking for men and women who are in their 20’s through 40’s. There are several roles available. They are only looking for individuals who have acting experience. It is showing in Atlanta, Georgia so actors must be local. Callback auditions are being held on August 22nd, 2017. This will be a quick moving production. Rehearsals are set to begin on August 26th. “For the Love of Mama” will run on October 25th from 7-9 pm. It will take place at the Fulton Country Southwest Arts Center. All actors will be paid for their time! Camille is floored with a breast cancer diagnosis, attempts keeping it hidden. BEATRICE BEE: Dr. Luv’s assistant Female (30’s), brief dialog –DEE Supporting Lead Female : Life of the party, (40’s) sharp tongue, is married to Sam, who wears the skirt in their relationship.DR. JAY LUV Lead Role Vocalist (40’s) : Camille’s Oncologist (cancer doctor) falls in love with Camille.SAM: Late (40’s), no children, and is battered by his nagging wife, who wants them. When Sam’s had his fill, Sam speaks up!TANAE: (Character is 16) (Roll filled by a female 22 -30’s) Diva Tanae breaks every rule, having no regards for her mother Camille, and is proud of her promiscuity.THEO: Late (40’s) Vocalist. Camille’s ex-husband, who wants back into the relationship, just in time when he’s needed most.MANNY: (Character is 16) ( 22-30’s) Family friend, busies himself fixing what isn’t broken, ending in hilarious disaster.Sheree’s Studio Theatre Co.
