Cherish DobkinsMy name is Cherish Dobkins and I’m 11 years old. I’m 4 feet and 9 inches. I have brown hair and a greenish-blue eye color. Acting is my passion and landing a role in this kind of show has been my dream since I was a little girl. I do a local theatre group called CYT, standing for Christian Youth Theatre, and I’ve done it for almost 3 years. My first year I just took the classes but I didn’t do any plays, since then, I’ve taken classes and I only do one musical a year, because they’re expensive and my family isn’t rich. So I’ve done 2 musicals with CYT so far. One being the Wizard of Oz and the other Shrek the Musical. I was a munchkin and a winki in Wizard of Oz and I played Goldilocks in Shrek. Lots of people were in Shrek so they had to add a few extra roles. I only had one line as Goldilocks, but I guess that’s pretty good because most people didn’t have lines. Besides acting on Disney, my other dream is Broadway as you might’ve figured out by now. I also did two school plays but my school is cheap so they were pretty lame.
