Empire is in the midst of filming season 3 and a casting call is looking to hire rappers and actors. The Fox TV show is filming an upcoming scene that is in need of men who are in their 30’s and 40’s. Actors and models will be playing rappers who are hanging out in the studio with artists. This is a marvelous chance to work with with Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson. Filming will be in Chicago, Illinois on Friday, January 27th and Friday, February 3rd. About “Empire”

Lucious Lyon, played by Terrence Howard, is the king of hip-hop. An immensely talented artist, the CEO of Empire Entertainment and a former street thug, his reign has been unchallenged for years. But, after battling what he believed to be a terminal disease, Lucious challenged his sons to compete for his throne, a task made all the more complicated by the return of their mother and Lucious’ ex-wife, Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson, who was released from prison.

Casting directors are hiring men who are in their thirties and forties to portray rappers. This is a non-union extra role.
