I hope that there is not an maximum age limit. I don ‘t know what it is, but I think if there has to be one, it should be set at 99. Senior citizens have some of the grandest voices ever. American Idol still has their maximum age limit set at 28 and I think that is pretty stupid. I am 51, and I have a great singing voice. I even have a love affair for the music of Handel and Mozart. When Sherman Pore auditioned at the age of 64, he did a grand job and if American Idol would have scrapped the maximum age limit of 28, he would have won. I even spent some money and bought a copy of his CD and now he even has several songs out for Ipod.

  2. crystal granado

I would like the opportunity to audition for duets, its time I shared my gift. No one knows I can sing except for a handful of people. I’m 25 soon to be 26 and I need to know if I have what it takes.

  3. Sarah DuVall Pearson

Duets will be a show only true vocalists can hang with. Some people can sing and carry a tune but then there are people who can SING. Harmony is a huge part of voice control and talent and I have it. Bring it on!

  4. Simaima Taholo

My Name Bridget Taholo! I go by Simaima! I’m 18, born in Orlando, Florida! Raised in Salt Lake City Utah! I’m one out of 2 kids! I’ve been singing every since I could talk! Raised by a single mother (whom I love so much lol) that’s not to supportive, but I still continue to pic up my guitar and sing everyday! I’d love the opportunity to be given the chance of a life time and show the world that i’m not just some Polynesian girl who has a huge family and crazy hair!! Lol I’m here to prove myself!

  5. Allison Connolly

I am 35 years old, and feel like I’ve had a constant stream of music playing in my head 24 / 7, for my entire life. I love every type of music, and have been belting songs out for as long as I can remember. In the shower, in the car, in the file room at work, but besides high school musicals, rarely in public except for the occasional karaoke dare. I’m always surprised when people praise me with compliments, or ask to hear more, because I was never sure I really sound like I think I do. It’s one of those dreams that always seems so out of reach until a show like this comes along. I watch, and think in secrect…I can so do that!

  6. Heaven-Leigh Andrews

I am Heaven -Leigh, I am 20 years old and some people after hearing me sing tell me that I have the voice of an angel. I have always enjoyed singing. I am a single parent of a 5 year old girl. She is my life. We live with my parents, my daughter and my parents are my inspiration, my Mom taught me you are never to old to follow your dreams; she became a nurse at 42. My Dad is my biggest fan, and I am a Daddy’s girl. I just want to be giving the chance to see if my voice is what it takes to be a star……..

  7. Unique Hayes

I would love to be on your show. I have been singing most of the 39 years of my life. I have directed the church choir, have sung on the Praise & Worship, and I have excellent stage presence. I appeared on Wheel of Fortune as a contestant in 1998, and I am now ready to make my music debut on tv by being a part of your show. I can sing mostly any genre. Of music and I have a large singing range (soprano to 2nd alto) and I am a very classy lady.

  8. Joyclyn

Music is in my blood. My dad is a retired music minister and my mom’s a retired pianist. I’m a starving singer. I wouldn’t make it on Idol because of my weight. But honestly I am comfortable with myself. The vocal chords are on your inside just as beauty is. I have the same vocal range as Kelly Clarkson. In fact i sang a couple of her songs for church talent shows. I am a country girl just like her. Might not be from same town but I am from the triangle GA, AL, and FL. I should get a chance to audition because I have confidence in myself as well as i would my Duet partner. I might not be as qualified as anyone else but I sure as heck deserve a shot.

  9. Bernice long

It is my dream to be a performer!!!

  10. Heidi

My name is Heidi Clough. I am 24 years old and a single mother of a gorgeous little girl. I have been singing since I was able to make sentences. I have grown up in a very musical family and have been surrounded by it my whole life. I started singing in my church choir at the age of 12 and I still remember was at church camp, Joyful, Joyful. I watch all these singing shows and always think to myself, hey I could do that. After watching the season premiere of Duets tonight, I decided that this was my shot. The professional singers on this show are amazing and I have the utmost respect for each of them. My dream is to one day make my daughter proud and show her that her dreams can come true just like mine did as long as she takes the leap of Faith. Music is one of my loves and I would love the opportunity to show my talent and just be in the presence of the best. Thank you for your time and for reading this. God Bless each and ever one of you.

  11. Kristen lee

Im Kristen Lee im a inspired singer Im 15 Years Old , i love to sing music is a big part of my life its something i’ve always wanted to persue and this just might be my big break i want this more than anything if i could just have one chance please .

  12. Sarah Kosechequetah

I am a singer, song writer, and musician. I am very active singing in my church. I have at one point sang in talent shows and been very successful. I play many instruments. My two main instruments are saxophone and piano. My passion is to make my career at singing. I have had many friends and family encourage me to record. As a married mom of 5, I have put some of my dreams on hold. I am ready for this opportunity. Thanks!

  13. Kelle Willis

Oh another thing, I am 21 years old and I love to songwrite and soul, gospel as well as r&b music are said to be my best assets.

  14. Kelle Willis

Of course my name is Kelle Willis and I’ve been told I can sing by fellow students, co-workers. I’ve done talent shows and plays before and loved to showcase my talent. Though, nowadays I’ve been pushed away from my love of music and the stage where so many people I’ve encountered said I belong. So for now, I’ll just keep up trying to find a regular job, finish getting my associates in General to earn money and get a real career for my mom.

  15. ChaVonne Broddie

My name is ChaVonne Broddie. I’m 22 years old from Augusta, Ga and I would love to have the opportunity to showcase my God given talent with one of the celebrities and the world. I have been singing since u can remember an I know that there is nothing else I can see myself doing with my life. I have overcome many obstacles in my life to include losing everything to a house fire, and shortly there after, I had my baby girl 2 months premature!! I feel that without God, my family and music, I have no idea how I would have made it through!! I feel that I would be a great asset to the show because I have drive, determination, plenty of personality and most of all a beautiful voice. You won’t be disappointed!

  16. Joy McIntosh

I am 32 years of age my life has been singing, I lost my voice to bronchitis and just in the last few years got my voice back. I have been in choir since i was 10 but my mom will be telling you I came into the world singing my dad wants to see me go somewhere with my voice and he gets so mad at me cause i havn’t made it yet! If i ever make it to the stage I will take the stage AND WIN! iT WILL BE FOR MY DAD!

  17. Rob Bibber

I want to be on duets and sing with Jennifer Nettles! I’ve been lead singer in several bands – two of which also had a female singer and we sang many duets together – including “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” and several Sugarland songs. All false modesty aside – I excel at singing in harmony.

  18. Mel Mitchell

If all expenses are paid for, hey, why not? Just being realistic. I know it takes more than a pretty voice and a wide vocal range(alto-1st soprano and operatic) to make it in the music business, but who knows.

  19. Cheryl Cross

My name is Cheryl Cross, and like millions of others, I’ve been singing since a very young age. I’m 32 years old, and have come close to breaking into the industry, but always had circumstances rise that prohibited me from moving further. Most recently is when my manager, Kenny Dino passed away unexpectedly, right before finalizing my demo to be sent to Tony Orlando and Toni Wine. My biggest weakness when starting in the music field, was confidence and Mr Dino allowed me to find that within myself. The promise that I made to him after his passing was that I would not stop. He had so much faith in me as a musician, and wanted me to have that chance to show the world that I have talent, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted was to share that with the world. To have a chance to be on Duets would be another step closer to that promise to him. But it’s not just for Kenny, it’s for me as well. I believe that I have something special and that I offer something a little different. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to pursue their passion, whether it be music, art, acting, etc. and that’s all I’m asking for now. Is just one chance to show you what I have to offer.

  20. Lisa Morales

I would love to sing with all of the judges!! I sing 2nd soprano, alto and tenor when needed. I am the choir director for my church and I also sing with the 2nd Jurisdictional COGIC choir here in Los Angeles. So you can see, I LOVE to sing!! All day every day. I am at the age of appreciation now. If I would have had this opportunity 25 to 30 years ago, I don’t think I would have appreciated and respected my talent. Now at the young age of 45, I have the discipline it takes to accept this challenge and welcome hard work. I have a beautiful voice because God chose to bless me with the gift of singing. I am very passionate about music. I’ve done the karaoke circuit and now I’m ready for the big league. Let’s make some beautiful music together. God bless!

  21. Renata Patton

    My name is Renata Patton.
Im 21 years & i live in Lexington, Kentucky.
Since I can remember, all I have ever wanted to do was sing.
Music is my LIFE. I live, eat, sleep & breath it.
I love Music in general & not just one particular type.
Throughout my life, I have tried several different routes in which to take my life because I felt like a career in singing was out of reach.
But music is the ONE thing that has been consistent in my life & without it, I really don’t know what I would do, or what would inspire me.
I would love to be apart of Duets & would be very grateful for such an opportunity.

  22. Hannah Ivey

My name is Hannah Ivey. I have been singing since I started talking. I am 17 now. It has always been my passion. I do it when I am thinking, upset, well basically all the time. Most people don’t know I sing, because I don’t make it known. But I really want to be on this show, because I can see myself making a major difference with my voice. When I sing I put my heart and soul into it. I have taken multiple music/chorus/guitar classes and it has taught me a great deal of things. Every time I get in a class, it gets cancelled at the end of the year. That makes it to where I can’t make my voice as known, but being on this show I can. Being with a family that doesn’t have money I can’t do most things. This would give me the chance to have the experience of a lifetime. I want to further my dreams and this is the best way to do it.

  23. Laura Zamora

    Hello Duet stars!
My name is Laura Zamora and I’m 43 years old. I’ve been a stay-at-home for the last 23 years. I have absolutely LOVED being a stay home Mom, but now that my 3 boys are on their own, I’m trying to figure out what I want to be when I “grow up” and singing has always been the one thing I have never really allowed myself to explore because I knew it would be too hard to give my all to signing and to my family. One would inevitably suffer, so I chose my family. I sang a lot in my earlier years in high school, talent shows, at church, and for friends, but I would really love an opportunity to do the ONE thing, besides being a Mom, that I know how to do best. Singing is my soul’s passion and it would be so awesome to see if I could really go to a higher level with the talent that God has given me. And ” Hello” , I would so happy to get to sing with any one of you! What an experience and pliviledge. I hope you’ll consider me. Thanks and God Bless ~ Laura Z.

  24. Lita King-Anderson

Hi my name is lita. I am 38 years old and I am from New Jersey. I have been singing since I was a kid. When I was in elementary school my mom started singing back up for KC and the Sunshine Band. Everyone in my family has been blessed with beautiful voices. I come from a truly musical family. My mom inspired me to sing very young. I grew up singing to Stephanie mills and Chaka Kahn. I have had the wonderful opportunity to sing in 3 wedding bands. I have always been shy when it comes to singing but when I saw the preview for this show, I just had to find a way to be a part of it. Most of the artist that u feature on your show I have sang with several times either in the shower or car. I would absolutely love to be afforded the opportunity to really sing with them in person. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope to hear from you soon.

  25. Eliu Castellanos

My name is Eliu Castellanos, I’ve been singing ever since I can remember. I’m not you’re typical singer, I don’t copying artist and the way they sing. What ever I sing, I always put something of my own into it. Some people don’t like it, because they don’t understand what I do, but most love it. I believe I have what it takes if and only I get the chance.

  26. Dezhane Taylor

My name is Dezhane Taylor I started singing at the age of 5 yrs old. I come from a family of local singers. At the age of 16yrs old I had a singing group that performed in the local night clubs. Music is who I am not what I do. No matter how I try to stop thiking about music and pursue other talents music always comes up. I believe I would be a great competitor for the show and I would be able to share my musical passion, and talents with others.

  27. Tiffany McKay

When will there be auditions in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area? If you miss me, you’ve just missed out!

  28. Julie

Singing/performing and being a mom. Thats what I do best!

  29. Julie

I have been singing since I was 2 and singing is the only thing I’m really good at.

  30. Cuoree Sippio

From a musical family and the daughter of a blind mother who is a gifted “singer,” I am a musician/keyboardist/trumpeter who REALLY enjoys harmonizing on just about every song I hear on the radio. Not to mention, I do have perfect pitch! …I nearly bumped into John Legend once, and I once refused to take a day off of work (no longer work there btw) to meet with Robin Thicke. Crazy, yes I know!

  31. Tara

Because it would be SO MUCH FUN!!!!

  32. Ciana

  33. Ben

I have “IT”. I can entertain on stage, compliment any voice and lead when necessary. Looking forward to being a part of the show, and watching in the meantime.

    Gracias y Adios!

  34. Gabriella

I want to be a part of this show because it has always been my dream to become a singer. I know I may not be the best, but I am a quick learner and a natural at what I do. I’m always making everything I say into singing, it’s seriously my dream. I dread thinking about working a regular 9 to 5 job for the rest of my life and regretting not giving singing a chance. I’ve always been quite a shy person all my life so people don’t really know that I can sing pretty well. I would just want to prove everyone that I do have a special talent and I’m not afraid to show it. I know there are so many people out there that have this same dream and I wish them all the best as well, but I just really really want this. I’m passionate and devoted and I hope I could be part of this experience.

  35. TARA CLANCE

I’m double majoring & double minoring at Belmont University, and putting myself through school which is TOUGH! Ironically, i’m right in the heart of Nashville, with music all around me, yet my workload & studies keeps me from doing the very thing i dream of doing. . .singing.
Life has never given me anything, but hard work has taught me a lot. I would love to audition and get the opportunity to learn from one of these amazing artists!

  36. Precious Danielle

  37. Rebecca Mann

Hello! My names is Rebecca and I am 22 years old. I would love the chance to duet because singing has always been my dream! I know that is what most people say and yes anyone would love the chance to sing with a super star..! I use to do lots of singing around where I live and gave most of it up because i had my first child at 19. I never really got a chance to explorer the music would for a chance to make. Getting this audition would be like a second chance to get to do what i love. I have given up so much in my life for my husband and children..pretty much everything! The only people i sing to now is my children while cleaning or at bed time. I don’t regret being a mother and wife but I would love a second chance to do what i love one more time! 🙂 I have never had singing lessons so what i have is just raw talent and believe me, i am no shower singer! 🙂 I don’t want this audition to become a huge star, i just want the chance to do something that i love one more time!! Thanks guys!!

  38. Rodil Ybanez

i am 52 years old, and i love to sing ever since i was 6 years, i used to be a registered physical therapist here in stockton MO., with the population of only 2,000 plus. in 2008 i fell at work and became disabled, i had a heart attack in 2009 after i had a L shoulder surgery from my fall accident, then 2 weeks after my heart attack i end up having a quadruple by-pass heart surgery. i know how to sing but i can’t read music, even play guitar and piano without reading the notes. i have like 12 songs i recorded those songs 8 months after my heart surgery. this is the had part of my life, knowing i can”t go back to work anymore as a registered physical therapist, so im taking my chances maybe i can enter this duet’s contest, and i would love and honored to have a duet with you guys. thank you very much.

  41. Denise Morrow

My name is Denise. I am 30 years old and I have always dreamed of being on stage. I’ve had to put those dreams of a music career on hold due to my life’s circumstances. Music is at the very core of my soul and I long to share music with the world. I could only dream to be on stage singing with some of the industry’s finest artists. I suffer from horrible insecurity and stage fright. I would love to break out of my “musical shell” and free the voices of the past that have influenced my life. To be mentored by some of these amazing artists would a bountiful, mind-blowing experience. I feel like I have something special to share with the world and I believe that a chance with singing with these artists could be the opportunity for me to unleash my true passion, musicality and life experiences with world. I too want to let others know that being strong and believing in yourself is the key to a happy life – I could use a great dose of stage magic and shine my inner light.

  42. Franklin Barnes

Hi. my name is Franklin Barnes, I recently turned 18 and my number one hobby in life is to sing. In my mind, if you are musically talented then you are blessed beyond imagination and I could not imagine what life would be like for me if I could not sing. Singing is everything to me and I would love to share my gift with the entire world if given the opportunity. I classify myself as an R&B singer and I have been singing my entire life and must admit I’ve gotten better with each passing year. I would love to work with Mr. John Legend, who became my idol immediately when I heard his get lifted album. His music is something I can feel and relate to, and I would love an opportunity to work with him. I know that if I were chosen to work with any of you 4, I would definitely bring alot of talent and potential to our duet. Thank you for your time and I look forward to taking part in a duet with one of you.

  44. Cesar Diaz

I’m 20yrs old, and if been singing since since i was 4, sadly i stop at 6th grade. then start of my high school years and got back on it, been from menz to chambers choir all. standing on stage make made me feel so energetic, and that’s when i realized that i was meant to be on stage. sadly high school years were over, but the best part of my graduation was that i audition and got the change to sing the solo in front of the whole class of 2010 and family. i was born in Phoenix , AZ I’ve never had the chance to audition, reason is because where i live rarely there is events that take place. but i know that some day hopefully soon, ill get the chance to stand in front of everyone and show my passion of singing. “Duets” is one of the shows that really has gotten my attention. really like the fact that one gets to sing with many of the top singers in america is really amazing. Robin Thicke, kelly Clarkson, John Legen and Jenifer Nettles i will like any of them as my mentor i would be lucky for this. having the chance to duet with them is my top goal……so lets go for it and duet

  49. Johnny Bounthisane

I like to finally take the next step and be honored to do a duet with Kelly Clarkson. I would like for my family to know my life wasn’t all a waste trying to pursue my dreams and to get that one chance to sing for my mom and younger brother who passed away years ago and for my older brother who is having health issues. Mostly for my 7 yr. old son who i love very much, when times can be rough but to let him know I’m doing this for him as well.

  50. Autumn D'Esposito

I’m a 20 year old music school student with 2 jobs, and a voice. My dream ever since I saw Kelly Clarkson’s first audition at 8 or 9 years old on idol was to sing with her. I cried when she won and I told my mom that when I grew up, I wanted to be exactly like her. Especially after seeing her ‘Driven’ on VH1, I was hooked. I have bought every single album since then and know pretty much every single song she has ever put out. She molded my voice into what it is today, and I would give absolutely anything to be able to sing with her.

  51. ilismo

I don’t like putting my thoughts out like this, but this is my time:
My name is ilismo and I have been performing for many years and have been Blessed to open and share the stage with various artists in this industry. I am a twin and from the age of 11 have been performing duets with my twin sister and have traveled singing and recorded our originals that made waves where ever we went..Right now because of situations out of our control we cant continue as we wish…John Legend is some one I hoped to sing “I love you love” with and have been singing that song for quit some time on my gigs on my island. I reside in Florida now and just last night I was speaking to the piano player about that song at a gig and I looked up at the TV screen and there he was on the commercial for Duets, a show I never even noticed existed. So here I am now researching and leaving this plain yet truthful comment, requesting the opportunity to sing a Duet with John Legend on this show or anywhere in the near future. My dream is to hit the stage and sing with some of the greats and if I don’t, I will continue to perform where ever I am invited to cause like a fish out of water, i won’t survive this world with out singing..
I am on FB and on Youtube by the name of ilismo and you can see what i have done and passion for this art. I have auditioned for two of the other major competitions and shows, but to my disappointment, did not make it cause i could have only afforded to go to the last cities and as you know your chances are slimmer that time..I was always praised by the judges for my performance, but it was not good timing i guess, or maybe even not God’s timing..
I should be considered, cause the world is ready to see me at my best, singing with the best. Many Love me and so would the rest of you and the world…Small island girl leaving her stamp on this Big world…ilismo

  52. Kate Mason

Hi. My name is Kate Mason and I am a singer and fiction writer. I sing for fun and have been told I have a good voice. I was trained to sing Opera and if I am chosen for this audition, I would be very honored. I have three children who I want to make proud of me and I want to show them that they can get anything they want if they just have the courage to try. I look forward to seeing this show even if I do not have the chance to perform. Thank you for this opportunity.

  53. RoChelle Karma Gray

My name is RoChelle Karma Gray. I’m from a tiny town in Michigan, sometimes it feels like population 5. I am 22 years young and I am a very proud single mother to a beautiful baby boy. My life has been twisted and contorted adventure so far but an adventure all the same – There is just one thing missing, doing what I love.. Which is singing. I don’t necessarily want Fame, I just want to be heard and for once have to opportunity to inspire those around me. I personally want to inspire young adults to press forward and never give up, I would also like to inspire those who have been sexually abused to speak out and give themselves every opportunity to shine. We are survivors and we our capabilities are limitless no matter what we have experienced! We must love, forgive, and fight to become the person we want to be remembered as. I’ve heard many times that anything is possible, I do strongly believe this but nothing is possible if you don’t take a leap of faith without fear of falling. This is my leap. If anything I hope you enjoy watching, I appreciate your time. Thank you and God bless!

  56. Ethel Undahl

I am 35 years old. My whole life I have been told “you are too fat to be a singer” and my dream isince I was itty bitty was to be a singer. I sing karaoke now to keep my chops sharp and I even sing in competitions and do pretty well. I just dont think that singing in a local bar will give me the exposure I want. My hero has always been Gladys Knight and I would die a happy woman if I got to sing and work with her just once in my life. I know I can learn so much more about my craft from her!

  57. Azusa Dance

I would love the opportunity to share and showcase my talent, but also learn how to be a better person and performer. I have enjoyed some opportunities locally and would love to have a chance to do some phenomenal work elsewhere with some professionals in the industry. Most importantly, I enjoy singing and performing for it is fun and an extension of who I am. This would be another fun way to learn more and understand, from others that enjoy what they do and touch so many people.

  58. Tamara Anderson

My name is Tamara Anderson and I am a single parent of one child. I love music and it is in my DNA. I sing gospel, jazz, classical music and R& B soul. My mother was an Opera singer. I come from a line of singers. My aunts sungbackground with a very well know gopsel artists that is still well known today. I was involved in a play that was under the direction of the Legendary Stephanie Mills , Kelly Beard and under the talented Musical Director Mr. Bill Jolly. I was one of the background Vocalists for BEBE Winans who was also featured in this production. I sung solos in the choir, Jesse Jackson for “schools on the move campaign” and I was one of the choir directors. In Addition, I was involved in a CD project that required studio time several years ago. I can sing with any artist because I have range and versitility when it comes to my voice. I believe in stepping out side of the box and excercising my gifts .

I can remember, growing up, sitting by the Christmas tree for hours with my sister, harmonizing to the musical Christmas lights. This may sound boring to most people, but not to us!! Making harmony is what I know and love. Whether that means being in front of thousands of people or just sitting in a room singing a simple song, it’s music I love! The challenge of creating harmony to an unfamiliar song always proves to be enjoyable. I hope you’ll consider me for your show – what an amazing opportunity to have a mentor like that.

I know I can do it. I’ve been told numerous times that I should do something with my voice. So choose me, help me, make my forever dream come true. You wont regret it. This I promise you. Give me just 1 chance. That’s all I ask of you.

  61. Jasmine Lopez

Hi! My name is Jasmine my friends call me Jas. I am a PROUD 27 year old mother of 2 beautiful special needs boys. I’ve been singing since I was 5, mostly in church. For a long time I put my dreams aside to focus on my family’s needs but after my divorce I made it a goal to fulfill goals I once had. So far I have worked my way up to a higher paying job, I bought my 1st home for me and my boys and recently purchased my own car. Next on my list is my singing career. I love all music but my fav style is soul. I am currently part of the worship team in my church and I am frequently given the opportunity to do solos and lead some songs. There is a sense of freedom and passion that fills me when I sing It’s hard to explain. There is a phrase that I love because its exactly how I feel which says WHEN WORDS FAIL MUSIC SPEAKS! Music is so influential and I dream that I can be a inspirational singer one day. And although my kids are too young to understand right not but I hope that they one day are proud of me. My journey hasn’t been an easy one but it sure as hell is worth it! Hopefully I am given the opportunity to sing my heart out. Let it be God’s Will.

  63. Stacie Pompili

Hello, my name is Stacie Pompili. I am a singer, plain and simple. I have been singing since the age of three years old. I could write about how it touches the souls and hearts of others and how music affects us all, but all I can really tell you if you want to know why you should consider me is that it is not just a talent, something I enjoy, but part of WHO I am. I have always been compelled to sing, no matter where or when. I stopped performing with my band when I started a family with my husband after years of infertility issues and I swore to God that if I could have a baby I would give up my music. But I don’t think that is what is He meant to be. I would love an opportunity to shine even if its for one last time. But even if I’m not chosen I will still feel like the luckiest woman alive. <3

  64. Alyssa Butt

  65. Elias Cuadro

Hello, first off , let me start by saying that I truly believe “Duets” will be the ultimate singing show to watch. But even better then just watching it, how awesome would it actually be to grab a mic and perform on stage with true icons of music who not only have sold millions of records around the globe but just like you and I, began with a mic in one hand and a belief in their heart. That my friends, is my ultimate “DREAM”. I’m 42 yrs. * Young * and love to not just sing, but sing with conviction and emotion. Truth be Told, just about anyone can sing, but it truly takes a special “Vocal Gift” to make an “IMPACT” on people. I would humbly treasure this opportunity.

  68. Azrael Hutchinson

I’m Azrael, I’m 16 years old and I would be so ecstatic to be on this show! All of the judges are amazing vocalists and inspiring musicians. It’s hard to say who I’d want to sing with since they’re so great. I moved from Wyoming to Colorado last year and I am still hitting some barriers as to make my performing dreams come true. I just finished up a major ensemble role in RENT: School Edition and loved every second of being on stage and with my theatre family. The thing about shows like this is that I wouldn’t do it for the fame (although it’s definitely a plus), I would do it for the great experience and insight I could get from it. As a junior next year, I’m in my school’s show/acapella choir and the chamber choir. In the last 4 years I have been training myself – with tips from my vocal instructor father – to sing R&B, jazz, and pop songs and I’ve been getting pretty good at it. I could use work, but I’m a fast learner and I take criticism well. I hope you think about letting me on this show and letting me have this incredible experience.

    Love, Azrael

  69. Baleigh

My names is Baleigh, I’m 19 years old and live in the small town of Tuttle Oklahoma. I’ve always loved to sing, I just never really had the guts to do it infront of anyone, so when my mother put me in pageants at 14, I realized what I could do. I’ve always been in chamber choir, and beat out some 600 kids for a spot in that class. My aunt died when I was younger and she always told me to do the most that I can do with my voice, and now, I see what she means. I want a chance to show the world what I can do and make my family proud.

  70. Rodney McKinley

I am an African American, I’m 54 (yes I know I’m old but the best things never leave us. Thank You very much. Sincerely, Rodney McKinley
