The Disney Open Casting Call is an event held annually by The Walt Disney Company where the top producers and casting directors for The Disney Channel and Disney XD gather together to find the next crop of superstar Mouse House talent. The Casting Call is held in a different venue each year to give performers from different corners of the world a better chance to attend these incredible open auditions and have their chance to be seen and let their skills shine for the world’s most popular network.

These top notch casting directors are there not only recruiting for current Disney hit shows and original movies like Girl Meets World, High School Musical, Jessie, Mighty Med and Lab Rats but for future XD and DC favorites. Your time to be a part of the next Liv and Maddie, Kickin It or Teen Beach Movie could soon be here. This is your shot at the next star in the legendary Disney universe.

This year’s spectacular Disney Open Casting Call will be held in Los Angeles, California and the date is being organized right now. My teacher was somebody I looked up to for acting advice and she always had amazing things to say about my talent.     I from a small town in Michigan. I do canine freestyle dog dancing with my Pomeranian Zeeva, My dream would be to come on one of the Disney shows and show what we can do. Zeeva does over 40 commands and has done a few things in front of the camera and loves it. Our favorite thing to do is our demos at the local nursing homes and school groups.     Hello, Disney. I know you probably wouldn’t read this, and if you did there’s tons of other comments, haha. But I would LOVE to act it is one of my passions, along with reading and writing. I recently played Imogene in the Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and it was a whole lot of fun. I am also going to be taking Drama Club and a Theatre class at my local high school. I play field hockey.

    First of all, I’m not *that* Ally Carter. I have not published any books or anything of the sort. Ally just happens to be my nickname that I go by.

    Now that I have that out of the way, I would love to tell you about myself. I’m a sophomore in high school, who’s taking her second year in theatre. Even so, I’ve already played a part in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in our Fall play last year, and the auditions were very difficult to get through. That is the only part I’ve gotten, as I am no match for the elders in theatre when it comes to musicals. I can sing and dance to a fair degree, but it’s nothing better than average. I may be selling myself a bit short, but I doubt it. However, I do play an assortment of instruments: the bassoon (taught by the school), some percussion (school taught), acoustic guitar (self taught), and saxophone (self taught).

    Music and the likes aren’t my strongest suit, plus I didn’t have the biggest chemistry with my band members, so my band days have been short lived. However, I have one self taught thing (I am about to start taking lessons for it) that I excel at: art. To be more precise, digital art. It’s a fun medium, and not one you realize you’re seeing everyday.
