I love acting, and even though I want to give you this most amazing reason for it, i honestly cannot. I like acting just because… for me its not a freedom of dramatic proportions or an open door to speak my mind, its just a job I love doing and wouldn’t change it for anything. Desiree GonzalezI am about to be a senior in college, and I have always been behind the scenes doing video production work, since that is my major. However, last semester, I was able to get a taste of on camera performance by being my school’s entertainment news host for our celebrity briefs show. Ever since that, I knew being on TV was my calling. My mother, who had me when she was just 16 years old, didn’t get the opportunity to finish college, let alone graduate high school. My father, who I barely know, was in prison most of my childhood. Because of my mother’s struggles to raise me at such a young age, she constantly pushed me to excel in school that way I wouldn’t have to go through the same lifestyle she went through. So her motivation, as well as my own, led me to where I am today. Education is all that I have, and all I hope is to one day be able to live a lifestyle where I can pay my mother back for everything she has given me. Landing a role on the Disney Channel would be a great starting point. Although I have no prior acting training, I believe in myself and my potential. I am a petite 20 year old, standing at 4 feet and 11 inches. But don’t let my small size fool you; I have a big heart and a big personality. I am also a twin, and it wasn’t until I went away to college that I was able to find my individuality, and more importantly, I found my strength as a young Hispanic woman. Through my journey of self discovery, I have realized that TV is where I want to be. Allison CooperHi! My name is Allison Cooper, and I am from Dallas, TX. I love everything in the “fine arts’ area (singing acting and art). But, I don’t just love it because of how much fun it is, I’m good at it. Lets start with singing. Where do I begin?! I have been singing ever sence I could talk, and over the years, I have tried and acomplished growing my voice and experimenting in all types of music. In the past I have preformed in resturants that have an open mic, and once in Galvaston, I sand at a late night “hanging spot” with a piano player backing me up. I go to The Hockaday Private School in Dallas TX, and i will be entering 6th grade at age 11. This past year at Hockaday I have been in the choir, in which i preformed a solo in one of our preformances at The Northpark Mall, but I have also taken private voice lessons within the School.Acting is something that I love almost more than singing, even though I have not had as much “public experiance” as I have had with singing. I have gone to plays and done warm-ups by myself, though! (once i even made a one peson play by myself!). My dream is to become a famous Disney actress and musician, like Bella Thorne, Bridget Mendler, and Ross Linch (I really look up to them!). You’ll have to trust me when I say that I really am a good actress, because I know I am, and if you give me a chance, I know that you will too. I also love comedy. April Fools Day is a day people watch me on, so I don’t get them on a prank. My dad was the jokester in his family of 5 kids, so he passed it down to me and my 2 older brothers, Lawerence and Christopher. I’m the “class clown” in school and is always making up jokes.I really love art. Kiara or K.CEvery since I saw Disney Channel when I was 2 I’ve been hooked ever since. I would love to be Disney’s next star,and plus I think I know a lot of Disney’s shows like That’s So Raven, Sonny With A Chance, Hannah Montana, Suite Life On Deck, The Suite Life, Shake It Up, Austin And Ally, Dog With A Blog, and Gravity Falls, and Fish Hooks.
