I love to act because it gives me the ability to be a person someone has created. I have a very outgoing and fun spirit which shows through the types of sports I play for my school, which are flag football and the other one which always confusing a lot of people because I’m considered to be such a sweet girl is… wrestling. The role I believe is my best is the outgoing character because I am basically just playing myself with a little refined edge to fit the character. I also like to play the shy character as well as the not so smart character. The not so smart character is probably my favorite to my play because sometimes they can just say things that surprise you beyond belief. Any time I am given the opportunity to act I take it. It would be truly amazing to be given the chance to act in an Disney production because Disney is the best industry in the world for young people in today’s society. After little kids leave tree house they, then enter the world of Disney television which teaches such great lessons as well as giving the people they can look up to as role models. I’ve been acting, dancing, and singing in musicals since 2007 and it would be a dream come true to finally go further with this experience and step out into the bigger picture with this casting call. I’m currently still doing musicals in my hometown Kansas City with an organization called Music Theatre For Young People which is the top performing place in Kansas City. Many performers on broadway came from this organization and Bebe Wood, from NBC’s “The New Normal” , went through MTYP, and also Kyle Kliebocker from the hit reality show on USA, “Summer Camp”. I would love to have this opportunity because I believe it’s my turn to do something great with my life and go on this wonderful adventure of understanding what it’s like to work with the big leagues and how to adapt on television. Claudine Pierre-LouisHello, My name is Claudine Pierre-Louis, I’m 17 years old and ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved to dance. Dancing has always been my passion. I used to take ballet and tap classes when I was younger but as I got older and moved around a lot it became too expensive for my mom to pay for classes for me. I didn’t want to give up on my dreams so I taught myself how to dance hip hop. I’ve done school talent shows and have and been offered to dance at weddings. Dancing is my life and acting is another part of my life that I enjoy. I recently have been participating in more of the drama department in my school. I didn’t realize how passionate I was about acting, as I am for dance, until I started doing musicals and other drama club activities. I’ve always watched Disney Channel and said that’s where I belong. I know I have what it takes to be the next great discovery at The Disney National Talent Search 2013.
