It’s really fun acting like someone else, and thinking like them. Sometimes at home I stand In front of a mirror and try to think like one of the tv characters and it’s like I have all of that character’s thoughts in my head. Once I act I’m not Libby anymore, I’m someone completely different. Every time I’m practicing a script, I act out every line many times until I get it perfect. Some actors that really inspire me are: Selena Gomez, Bella Thorne, Zendaya, Chyna Anne McLain……. I also really enjoy singing and dancing. Everytime I dance everyone is always like “wow your really good”… If someone shows me a dance and I practice a little, I would probably be able to do it really well. I love singing. ElainaHi, I’m Elaina. I’m 11 years old and I am going into fifth grade this year. I’ve gotten all A’s since third grade. I’ve always loved singing and acting. It’s always been a dream to be on Disney Channel. I know I’m young but I’m 100 percent positive that I could make it big if you give me a chance. I did Peanut Galley Players (an acting/singing group in my area) from when I was 9 to 10. My first play with them was The Fearsome Pirate Frank. Since it was my first play with the I didn’t get a huge role or anything. I still had more lines than some people. I remember running lines and being like “psh! This is easy” and wishing for more lines. It actually happened to. When we were performing the other girl was supposed to say her line about do whatever he wants and she just stood there. So I said it and the director mentioned me in front of the whole group about how good that was. The second performance I did with them was there summer musical. It was Bye Bye Birdie. I played a school girl. The first practice we all met and were assigned to go, learn and practice something. The first thing the school girls was learn choreography. Then we learned the songs and lines. The first time we did it everyone did everything right. Then it was opening night. We sold out! Everyone was really excited. The next two night we didn’t sell out but were close. We also performed a few scenes at Arts and Apples for anyone who wanted to watch. The next show I did was 101 Dalmations. I got to do a duet with my friend which was awesome because the director ranted and raved to my mom about how I could sing. Sadly I had my last show with them. It was Honk, which is like The Ugly Duckling. We sold out two of our three shows. We also did a show for a marathon that started outside our practice room. For elementary school I attended a school of the arts. Because of that I’m used to performing and am not the type to get stage fright anymore. In kindergarten we did our Mother Goose Party, which is a bunch of nursery rhymes put into songs and dances. In second grade we did a show called A Kids Life, which was about kids losing power and having to do other things besides video games and tv. We all had special parts. In fourth grade we did Fractured Fairytales. We got put into groups and had to take a fairytale and change it and re-write it with the changes. We performed and did great. Also in fourth grade we did book commercials. We have a morning news show just for our school that everyone in the school watches. In Media we got partners and picked a book. We had to write and perform a commercial that would convince people to read the book. The whole class voted for two people to perform on our news show and me and my partner won. To close elementary we had our Fifth Grade Production, Treasure Island. We all auditioned and got parts. I got dancer. I was bummed that I didn’t get actor but I turned out to be fun. We kinda tied the show together. Also we only had a month to learn the play. It turned out to be a success. Also from third to fifth grade I did the talent show. In third grade I sang Falling Down by Selena Gomez (my idol since first grade) and in fourth grade I danced with my best friend to Who Says also by Selena Gomez, and finally for my last elementary school talent show I sang I Knew You Were Trouble by Taylor Swift. All the show helpers constantly told me how good I was. It was a huge success. Also in elementary school we did Reflections Art Contest. Each year we had a category. The first year I did it I was in second grade. The category was “Beauty is…” I won first place for Beauty is Nature photography. I tried again in third grade. The category then was “Together We Can..” I didn’t win for this one. But in for fourth grade the category was “Diversity Means” I won first place for my story in the literature category.
