I auditioned at the age of 8 and made it, but my parents did not want me to move all the way to California at the time at such a young age. I went to the Disney Channel Nationwide Talent Search Auditions However as I was waiting in line the lady from the distract started handing out scripts. I asked her if there would be dance auditions as well due to the fact that the flier given to me by my teacher said that it was for singers, dancers, or actors. She said no that it was only an acting audition so my mom and I decided to go ask two different people who were signing people in and they all directed us to the same lady from our distracted. Who told us the same thing that it was only an acting audition I got mad and dissapointed . The lady didn’t bother to go ask the Disney Channel representatives she just told us that it was only for actors. Behind me I saw a couple of other people walk away as they heard that as well. Today my mom came to find out that they were holding dancing auditions as well. The actual judges and representatives of Disney Channel were taking dancers as well. Once my mother told me that I began to cry into, I was mad and sad because my one shot was taken away from me all because the lady who was sent from the distract had missled me due to the fact that she might have assumed it was an only acting audition. I had my one chance and it was taken away from me just like that. I have been dancing my whole life because it is my life. I not only dance the Latin Dnaces (Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa) but I also dance Hip-Hop, Tap, Jazz, and many others. I have choreographed many of my friends sweet 16 and other showcase dances for free because it is what I love to do. But now its my time to shine. I want to get my chance to be able to get out there and do me. I love learning different types of dances which why throughout my life I have become very diverse with dance. Dancing is the way I express myself and it is my escape from the real world. When I dance all my worries and problems just fade away as the music comes on. Dancing is so much more to me than just movement it is a rhythm that flows through your body like a heartbeat when you listen to the music. Dancing is my way of telling the world “This is ME”! I want to be able to get my chance because it was taken from me. It is my passion and I want to be able to show the world what I can do. Last summer I talked and acted and sang for Jamie lee Curtis and she told me that I should never give up on my dreams so I won’t. I want to do something with my life and just want the opportunity to show people what I have. My parents are very supportive and want me to achieve my dreams as Much as I do so we are all happy to move to los Angeles for as long as possible and would even be glad to as it is such a beautiful place. I hope you will consider me and I hope even you choose me to be the lucky person to join the disney family. P.s. I have read about so many new good shows you are considering and my favourite is i didn’t do it so I would be very happy if I got a part in that but any show would be good as I would just be so grateful to be on tv and living my dream I wouldn’t mind.
