Anthony AquilinaI wrote a full length screenplay titled Rocco. It is an epic remake to the original Rocky movie. I successfully made contact with one of Mr. Stallone’s assistant agent at John Burnham’s office. I was given the opportunity to send them a one pager describing the script in its entirety. The assistant seemed very interested in the story and we talked on several occasions. Unfortunately, when I attempted to leave a message for the assistant I was told that he didn’t follow procedure and he should not have accepted unsolicited material. I haven’t heard a word from him since. I know these characters like the back of my hand. I have acting talent and recently was offered a leading role in an acted out reality court show. I also did movie extra work and passed auditions and received acting experience. In addition, I directed a trailer to one of my screenplays and almost sold a script to Gunnfilms. I’m a middle age and average build Italian American from Buffalo, New York. Growing up people would tell me that I remind them of Rocky/Stallone because of the way I look, act & talk. On a more humorous note, my family and I grew up watching the Rocky movies. My older brother once help voluntary boxing tournaments with the other children in the neighborhood. The contest took place on the front lawn of our parent’s house. My best friend was undefeated and I was a big underdog. Make a long story short, I became champ. My life is similar to the Rocky character and Mr. Stallone, its been a journey. Like the assistant agent who’s name I won’t mention, sometimes people have to think outside the box or how else will they discover new talent.
