Careful What You Wish For – Movie CastingDisney icon and music sensation Nick Jonas is set to make his debut as the lead character in a feature film and the impressive project is taking shape quickly. The dramatic thriller Careful What You Wish For is prepping to roll in front of cameras soon and producers and casting directors for this firecracker of a movie are beginning their search for aspiring actors of all ages to participate in a number of fantastic casting calls. Submissions for several roles are being accepted today.Careful What You Wish For will find Jonas (Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, The Disney Channel’s Jonas) starring as Doug, a young man who becomes romantically involved with a lovely new neighbor who moves next door to his summer lake house. When the woman’s older husband is found dead and a large life insurance policy is revealed Doug realizes that he may not know everything about his new love interest and maybe the audience does not know everything about him. This potboiling mystery will be a huge departure from Jonas’ previously more family friendly fare and an intriguing project in which to stretch his outstanding acting abilities. Working alongside Mr. Jonas in Careful What You Wish For will be the immensely gifted rising star Isabel Lucas (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Red Dawn, Knight Of Cups) as Doug’s object of affection Lena and award winning veteran performer Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, Living In Oblivion, New Girl) as the unfortunate husband.
