Careful What You Wish For – Movie CastingDisney icon and music sensation Nick Jonas is set to make his debut as the lead character in a feature film and the impressive project is taking shape quickly. The dramatic thriller Careful What You Wish For is prepping to roll in front of cameras soon and producers and casting directors for this firecracker of a movie are beginning their search for aspiring actors of all ages to participate in a number of fantastic casting calls. Submissions for several roles are being accepted today.Careful What You Wish For will find Jonas (Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, The Disney Channel’s Jonas) starring as Doug, a young man who becomes romantically involved with a lovely new neighbor who moves next door to his summer lake house. When the woman’s older husband is found dead and a large life insurance policy is revealed Doug realizes that he may not know everything about his new love interest and maybe the audience does not know everything about him. This potboiling mystery will be a huge departure from Jonas’ previously more family friendly fare and an intriguing project in which to stretch his outstanding acting abilities. Working alongside Mr. Jonas in Careful What You Wish For will be the immensely gifted rising star Isabel Lucas (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Red Dawn, Knight Of Cups) as Doug’s object of affection Lena and award winning veteran performer Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, Living In Oblivion, New Girl) as the unfortunate husband. Samantha MartinHi, my name is Samantha Martin. I am 19 years old turning 20 January 9th. Ever since i was young I’ve wanted to be so many things and even now I can’t really decide. But one thing that has never changed is that i have always wanted to try acting and singing and all that. But I’m not really confident in myself and never have been. I don’t think I’m good at singing and I’ve never truly tried acting but I’m not confident in myself. Memorizing lines and things like that, once i get used to it, I don’t think it will be a problem. I’ve had to memorize songs for band when we r marching out on the field. I’ve always told myself I’d at least try just to say I tried. I’m not really that good looking either. I have wrote songs but I don’t think they are that good. I have brown hair, hazel eyes, I weigh around 160-170, and I’m around 5 feet 8 inches or so. When I put my mind to doing something, I work my hardest and do everything possible not to give up. I am a really hard worker too. I understand if I don’t get chosen at all, I just wanted to try. Kate PalmerMy name is Kate Palmer and I am an 11 year old girl. I was born on January 27th 2002, and that’s when I knew i wanted to be an acress. I’ve been acting for as long as I can remember but because of where I live I don’t have any big acting chances. I live in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Its quite boring here. Not much to do. I have quite a bit of experience though. My parents work hard to supply for our family of 5. I’m the baby of my family, so my brother and sister don’t believe in me at all. I al love singing and dancing! There aren’t too many extrememly sucessful Canadian actors, musicians and dancers. But the few that there are, seem to be the best. Celine Dion, Justin Bieber, Rachel McAdams, Cory Monteith, Ryan Gosling, etc. I know that I am just as good as them, but because of the situation I’m in, I haven’t been able to get my big break. I have light brownish-gold hair, hazel eyes, a big smile, I’m 5’5, and let’s just say I sprouted before most other people my age. Some people say I look like I’m in high school, so I could play many ages. I have a passion for performing that words can’t explain. My parents are busy working, but my retired grandmother is willing to move for my career. My grandmother is definitely my biggest supporter and she helps me get through all the hard no’s that I have gotten, and supports me through the even more yes’ that I’ve gotten.
