Bunked – The Disney Channel

Casting news from the world of Disney keeps on coming and this announcement may just be the most exciting yet. The next great Disney Channel comedy series is here and casting calls have come with it. Auditions for Bunked are set to be held soon and performers of all ages can submit themselves for available roles today. This could be your next incredible chance to join the Disney family.

Bunked will follow teen girl Beebe Dorfman, a tech dependent “nerd” who experiences a major life change when she is forced to spend her school break as a counselor at a summer camp. Without the

aid of her trusty smartphone and electronic devices Beebe must learn skills of the outdoors quickly while keeping up with all of the wacky campers and their crazy antics. Will Beebe survive the summer,  and if she can’t Instagram it, will anyone know it even happened? These questions and more will be asked and outrageously answered in this hilarious new weekly comedy and soon you could have a shot at joining this outstanding new project from the brilliant mind of creator and showrunner Joey Manderino (Austin & Ally).

Casting calls for Bunked are being organized now for several roles of all sizes including lead, supporting, recurring, day player, stand-ins and extras. I was the lead role as the Little Match Girl and was honored to have my name mentioned in The New York Times.

Disney Channel has inspired so many kids to love and to partake in all things that involve visual or performing arts.     I have watched Disney channel since I was little (I am 14 now) and I have honestly always dreamed of being of being on a Disney show even if I was just an extra. When I was little I remember pretending I was on Disney channel and I would take my fake wand that I made out of a stick and some paint and I would do the “Hello I am Justine and you are watching Disney Channel” thing. My mom used to walk into my room and me and my friends would be making a fake web show (kind of like iCarly) and we would do a bunch of skits and stuff and preform them for her. Since I was little she has been telling me that she knows I am going to do something with acting sometime in my life.
    I love acting, but I have only been in 2 plays one of which I was the main character and the other of which I was a background character (I wasn’t very popular in Elementary School and my teacher thought it would be a good idea to let the students vote on who should play what part… needless to say the big roles were given to the “popular kids.”)
    I am going to be a freshman next year and I am in show choir, the musical, forensics (public speaking), and possibly the school play if I have time considering I also take many dance classes (I have been taking classes since I was 3), and I play the flute and I am teaching myself guitar. And in case you’re worrying about me being nervous about public speaking because I have never done anything big, keep in mind I will admit I would be nervous, but I always pull through (this year my teacher actually emailed my mom saying how well I did on a presentation on Foods in Holocaust concentration camps. I got over 100% on it and actually had the highest score along with another girl in my class.)
    Ever since I was little I have wanted to be an actress and I know a lot of people say that, but for me its true and I can not see myself doing anything else in my future besides directing or writing books.
    Also, just in case you are trying to envision a certain look for your characters here is a little description about what I look like.
    I am about 5’4”, I have grayish blueish eyes, my natural hair is a light brown or dirty blonde but right now it is a lighter blonde but not beach blonde (and I am willing to dye my hair), I am pretty pale, I am average size I would say (I am not stick thin, I have curves but I am not fat in my opinion), and people say I look older than my age (15 or 16).
