Abby LengWhy should I be considered? because although you may hear this a lot, I really do want this more than anything; I have grown up with Disney Channel, I’ve been there for every original movie, new series, new episode. To be able to start my career with Disney would mean that I never really have to leave my childhood behind and to me that means everything. I grew up with the Disney princess mentality that one day my prince would come and well now I’m taking matters into my own tentacles and making my wish come true. I don’t have much experience in the acting world since I know how competitive it is and Mom always wished I would pick something a little more traditional like a doctor or a teacher. I do admit part of my ability to be in this movie would be because I am in quite some way, a nerd. I even up to date like to randomly come up with “Did you know?..” remarks in the middle of conversations with my family and friends. and I still continuously build on my vocabulary by studying science and literature words said by Sheldon cooper in The Big Bang Theory Television Show. But all in all I retaliate!I was becoming attached to the idea I could settle until I stepped into college to study Digital Film making and my professors themselves noticed my ability to act and my animated facial expressions. In total, I was admired by my story telling teacher, Mr Rosenberg for my charisma. I was playfully told by my editing teacher, when We had to act in each others little homework projects as actors, that I was new new favorite actors. This I took bashfully but then felt as if I had received a comment from God when he told me I should seriously consider a career in acting. I was also told the same thing from My ADR and Foley Professor when he believed I was one of the best dubbing performers he’s had. It’s true At fist I still had doubts of my ability until I graduated and realized this is truly what I want to do And I will fight torrents and winds to get to Disney. Disney was like an extension of my parents. It taught me how to believe in the impossible even in the saddest of times. It showed me that there are good people out there though there are still lessons to be learned. It made me a geek and I believe I can add quite a spark to this project If I am given the opportunity.
