Kevin PedrosaI’ve grown up watching Mr. Sandler’s movies from Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore to Funny People and most recently Grown Ups 2. However, I use his success as inspiration rather than a base or outline so that my personality as an actor isn’t diluted with the hard work of others. Another’s work and dedication should belong to them and not be a reason for the success of others. I act as a hobby which means that anything from being an extra to something in a supporting role would be great!! I have little experience compared to most, however, I see that as an opportunity to learn and hone my skills where most would see that as a disadvantage in this kind of industry. I’m a quick learner and HIGHLY competitive when it comes to giving my all. As long as I try my best, I’ll do fine.I use different types and styles of humor to diffuse any situation in life and I have grown to use random facts of info or events to point out the correlations between everyday situations . However, I don’t just rely on humor. I’ve been able to produce a few different types of personalities within my short career: The narcissist, the pessimist, the New Yorker, the suburban, the regular guy, and the Southerner to name a few. In it, Mr. Rock explains that he believes actors possess a certain ability to read people. As someone who would consider himself highly perceptive to the world around him, I suppose the video was a revelation. At 19, I am still young, competitive, naive, and perhaps a bit cocky, none of which I would particularly describe as a negative attribute. I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t envisioned myself on the silver screen someday, who hasn’t honestly? But the difference between a dream and reality is an unwavering dedication and confidence in oneself, two traits that I know I possess. Trying to distinguish yourself in one of these comments is nearly impossible and deciding to give me an opportunity to prove myself is completely in your hands as of now, but I know MGM and castingcallhub.com wouldn’t regret giving me a shot. Antony PapachristouHi there,I am not sure to who am i reffering but here’s the short-version of my story:My name is Antony i am 19 years old from Athens,Greece and i have a passion with acting.After many amateur productions and numerous live performances with my band at local venues and festivals i think it’s time to move on for something bigger(‘Blended’ i suppose is enormous).While being in college in the meantime i search for various commercials,plays,etc. to cover any spare time and thus create an additional background.This of cource isn’t enough but it’s the best i can do at this point.Starring in ‘Blended’ is something that I decided to try at the urging of my social circles (and of course personal desire) by reffering to me as ‘natural talent’ and because everyone finds me funny and generally give the impression of an actor.This will unarguably provide a solid start and open new doors for things to come since i haven’t taken any cources or have any previous proffesional experience in acting.But don’t take just my word for it,call me in an audition and i will be more than willing to present my skills to you in person.Well, that’s all i can do from here and i truly desire to hear from you.Thank you in advance, Antony Papachristou 0 Reply July 15, 2013
