Zuath CortesI can’t say why I should be considered for this film because I would be repeating what others have said, and that’s not fun. It’s always the same old thing of ‘I love acting’ ‘it would be an amazing opportunity’ ‘it has always been my dream’ etc. Now I’m not saying that comments like those don’t matter, because they do. One should always leave a clear perspective of why they want to be an actor. But what I am saying is that it’s pretty basic. I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t think about saying those things -because I did- but ended up not. All I can say is that acting at its’ best is a game, especially for a 16 year old girl. It’s a game that should be taken seriously, but not enough to make you stop enjoying it. I’ll tell a short story. On one of first my casting calls I had a 4:30am start time. At the time I lived on 56th street and 8th avenue. My role was a police officer. I woke up at 4:10am. So I got out of bed and put on my uniform on, jumped on my bicycle and road across town to 56th and third avenue as fast a possible. When I arrive on set the police officer though I was reporting for work and the director was also there. He saw me come in dressed in full uniform. He had to send me home because I was impersonating a police officer and I almost got arrested. But I arrived on set on time!!!
