When the boys find out that Dave is proposing to his girlfriend, they mistakenly think that he is about to leave them forever so they head out to New York City to try and stop him with typically crazy results. All of your favorite voices will once againreturn including Justin Long (Live Free or Die Hard, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, The Break-Up) as Alvin, Matthew Gray Gubler (Criminal Minds, (500) Days of Summer, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) as Simon, Golden Globe nominee Christina Applegate (Hall Pass, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Married with Children) as Brittany, Golden Globe winner Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation, Mean Girls, Saturday Night Live) as Eleanor, Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Anna Faris (Scary Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Dictator) as Jeanette along with live action stars Jason Lee (My Name is Earl, Mallrats, Stealing Harvard) and Emmy Award winner Tony Hale (arrested Development, Veep, The Informant!). This calamitous cross country comedy will be directed by Walt Becker (Wild Hogs, Kirby Buckets, Old Dogs) from a script written by Randi Mayem Singer (Tooth Fairy, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jack & Jill) based on the timeless characters created by Ross Bagdasarian and Janice Karman.
