A new Disney movie starring Academy Award winning actress Reese Witherspoon and two-time Academy Award nominated actress, producer and mogul Oprah Winfrey. Disney auditions are being held for a 5 to 8 year old mixed race boy to play the lead role of Charles Wallace. Auditions are being held in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, October 1st from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm and in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Sunday October 9th from 12pm to 6pm.  This is an incredible opportunity to launch your child into Disney stardom!

About “A Wrinkle in Time”

“A Wrinkle in Time” is set to star Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey. Jennifer Lee, who wrote Disney’s “Frozen”, is adapting the award winning sci-fi novel A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle into a screenplay for Disney. The story follows children who travel through time and visit strange worlds in order to find their missing scientist father.

What They Are Looking For

Casting directors are looking for a mixed race boy who is between the ages of 5 and 8 years old. Actors will be auditioning for the role of Charles Wallace.

How to Apply

Auditions for the Disney distributed film are being held in Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Auditions are being held by appointment only. Parents who would like to have their child be considered should email angela@angelaboehmcasting.com . You should put Child’s name and “Disney Audition” in the subject line of the email. In the body of the email include the Child’s name, child’s age, city of residence, 1-2 recent snapshots and parent’s name and phone number. The casting director will reply with an appointment time and the exact location.
