Michael Cody KirkpatrickHOW CAN I MAKE SURE THIS GETS READ INSTEAD OF BEING SKIPPED OVER? Well, hopefully that worked. I have grown up with Seth McFarlane material. I love and understand his humor and have learned quite a bit from the way he presents his comedic wit. That being said, I currently do not have a professional acting career but I feel I understand the concepts and techniques as well as the ability to convey another person’s emotions mixed in with my own in order to create a truly unique character. I feel every actor has a mind set similar to this or should. I have had extensive stage training in the world of high school and college theatre and am aware of how to embody (or completely develop) another persona. I do have proof and references to support this claim upon request. Among numerous “Best Actor” and other awards obtained from “Forensic Meets” and “One Act Plays” on the high school and college level, I had the unique opportunity to work with Tal Lostracco, (Arguably the best college theatre director in Texas, founder of Tal Lostracco’s summer theatre camp in Georgetown, TX) for 2 years before he passed away. I obtained a variety of fundamental and advanced acting skills in that time, of which i use everyday as a bartender. It’s how I make my money. Being in the service industry for as long as I have, I can understand and relate to a great variety of people. And in turn use those characteristics and traits taken from the years of constant interaction with different personalities of people to build interesting, believable characters. I feel I would potentially be a top candidate for a number of roles with my theatrical background, life experiences, and deep appreciation for Seth McFarlane, if given the chance.
