Tim BHello,Modern Family is a “smart” comedy as opposed to some of the “dumb” ones that can come across as insulting to the viewer’s intelligence. I look forward to watching every week to see what the characters will get into next, and having said that, I would love the opportunity to be on the show in a supporting role. Lindsey BFirst of all, LOOOOVE Modern Family; I have seen episodes from 2009-2012 at least 3 times each. I love all of the character and they are so well portrayed. I think the only thing that is lacking is diversity. Yes, you have the Mitchel and Cameron to represent gay men and you have Gloria and Manny but that is about it. I loved the episodes with Kevin Hart but I think it is lacking Black American diversity, which is where I would come in. JimSo.. let’s see if it works.I’ve been watching Modern Family from the beginning until now and to be honest it has become a part of my family – with this I mean although I don’t know any of the actors personally, I feel like I can’t do without them. Each one of them is unique on their own way.I like the idea about ‘a modern family’ where there is no taboo in being married with a young beautiful girl, being gay etc. Everyone who’s watching this is beginning to accept that people are different and that you can have a big happy family no matter what. This I believe is very important and the massage is being giving trough comedy which is great.If you feel that it’s soon time for the family to get a new member, then I have an idea. You have a colombian beauty, gay couple, young vs. old, and why not bringing a totally new member in the family – I’m thinking someone who can play Haley’s boyfriend. Someone who’s from another culture. At first it will be a bit hard for the family to accept him, because they do not feel comfortable around him/ or they have prejudices towards him – but he proves them wrong. He shows them that he is much better than they think and finally they accept him in the family. My favorite character is Luke, because hes really funny and I have watched interviews of the whole cast and Nolan Gould himself, and it turns out, in one of his interviews he said, “I would actually like to see luke get a girlfriend in the new season.” Thats where I come in. I would be the happiest girl on earth if I got this part, (despite what everybody else says). and I love to watch an episode of Modern Family and then rewrite the episode with a new character in it…. which is me…. and then I get some of my friends to act it out in front of my family.
