LyndaHi there,The reason I’d like a part in the show is simply that I’m a huge fan of the series and would love be a part of something so magnificent. I love the artistic direction the producers and directors give to the story and truly believe this will be something that will watched and talked about years after the show has stopped filming.I have no substantial experience in acting ( except through school plays etc) but I have been an extra for a few things. I am 5ft tall, mixed race with long, curly, dark brown hair. I’m 28 but I have a very round and young looking face to the point where I often get mistaken for 16. In terms of characters I would say I have a very Meereenese/ Essos look but can also easily pass for someone from Dorne. I live in London and hence have a Londoner’s accent but I can also do American and Caribbean accents.I would happily take any part, be an extra or even simply serve drinks just to be able to say that I was part of this. Frances HarveyHi my name is Frances. I’m an 18 year old girl and student from the midlands, UK Game of Thrones is one of my favourite series a it’s unlike any other fantasy story I know. I find it gritty and truthful about power, class and freedom. Personally I love controversial storylines that make you question characters’ morals, and the fact that the series is so complex makes it seem more realistic, particularly in terms of playing a role. I am interested in the Arts, so I feel that to be able to play a role would be really interesting, not only because of the acting, but I find what goes on behind the scenes of film and TV equally as compelling. For this reason, I’d love working with like-minded creative people. I studied Drama at school, so I’m not a complete stranger to acting- although still pretty amateur- and I think I’d find any sort of role a great experience to play, especially since all the game of thrones characters have such rich personas. For an AS practical, we did an adaptation of the play Road, a politically influenced drama in which I was able to get out of my comfort zone and play a mouthy, distressed and pretty rude alcoholic.
