Divorce Starring Sarah Jessica Parker

She wowed audiences around the world with her of the iconic Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City and now Sarah Jessica Parker is ready to team up with HBO for another sure to be comedy classic. Divorce, starring and produced by the supremely talented Ms. Parker and featuring a supporting cast and creative team that stacks up with anything on television today, is casting for various roles now and actors can apply today for consideration.

Divorce is an uproarious comedy about a long-married couple going through a drawn out divorce and the effects it has on both the couple and those around them. When Frances (Parker) decides to undergo a total reevaluation of her life it leads to a decision to end her marriage, shocking her husband, friends and family and providing a rich, laugh out loud story line stands up against the best of HBO’s deep catalog of comedic offerings.

This hilarious and heartfelt comedy will star 4-time Golden Globe winner Parker (New Year’s Eve, The Family Stone, If Lucy Fell) along with a who’s who of supporting players including 2-time Emmy nominee Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby), Talia Balsam (Mad Men, The Wackness, Without a Trace), 7-time Emmy nominee Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords, Despicable Me, What We Do in the Shadows) and Academy Award nominee Thomas Haden Church (Sideways, We Bought a Zoo, Easy A). This HBO production was created by a pair of TV legends,  2-time BAFTA Award nominee Sharon Horgan (Pulling, Free Agents, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret) and Writers Guild of America Award winner Paul Simms (NewsRadio, The Larry Sanders Show, Boardwalk Empire).

Casting calls for HBO’s half-hour comedy series Divorce are being held today.
